Hello Traveler:

I know that I haven’t written to you in a while. Between our big Caribbean cruise groups that we had in December, the holidays, and the big Seattle snowstorm, we have been very busy. Now everyone is working on accommodating all of the travelers who have had a cruise moved from 2021 to 2022, including re-booking air and re-invoicing for the new dates…we have over 2000 of those…what a year! Also, with the new variant of Covid out there, I have decided to not offer any new cruises or tours in the first quarter of 2022…I want to give this time to run its course and settle down.

I was busy in December. I flew to Fort Lauderdale, Florida to meet the more than 1100 Travel With Alan travelers going on our two Holland America Caribbean cruises on December 4th and 5th. Both groups had a one-night pre-cruise package in Fort Lauderdale and about 1/3 of our group members stayed on, after the cruise, for our two-night post-cruise extension in Fort Lauderdale. I got back to Seattle in time for all of our winter weather…I’m counting the days until spring! Earlier this week, I flew to Los Angeles to meet our group doing their 19-day Seabourn cruise through the Panama Canal. We spent one night in Los Angeles with a pre-cruise cocktail reception and dinner. I will meet the same group in Miami, in a few weeks, for out two-night post-cruise package.

Well, I finally have a new offer for you and this one’s a doozy! In fact, the value with all of the inclusions and “extras” are so much that its almost like you are getting the cruise for nothing.

Join our group on April 8th, as we transfer you from the Seattle area to the Canada Place Pier, in Vancouver. There, in Vancouver, you will board the beautiful Royal Princess for a 10-day cruise down the West Coast and back. We will board the ship in Vancouver and sail to:

Catalina Island, California
Los Angeles, California
San Diego, California
San Francisco, California
Vancouver, British Columbia

This cruise is a great way to make spring come a little faster…and, for those in the Pacific Northwest, without having to fly either before or after the cruise. While onboard the Royal Princess, you will enjoy meals around the clock, in their main dining rooms and buffets, 24-hour room service, and more. There will be big shows every night and entertainment around the ship. You can also enjoy extended stays in your ports of call. In three of the cities on your itinerary, the ship will remain in port until 10:00 PM.

The best part about this cruise is the price…$1179 per person, based on double occupancy. Government taxes, fees, and port expenses of $245 per person are additional. This price includes your cruise, with meals and entertainment, round-trip motorcoach transfers from the Seattle area to Vancouver, and a whole ton of extras! These “extras” include:

A guaranteed upgrade to a balcony stateroom
Princess’ Premier Beverage Package
Standard pre-paid onboard gratuities
Complimentary Wi-Fi onboard
One dinner in one of the ship’s specialty restaurants

This means you will have a great “unobstructed” balcony stateroom. While onboard, you can enjoy complimentary beverages in the ship’s bars and restaurants. This includes beer, wine by the glass, cocktails, mocktails, smoothies, and specialty coffees and teas. All your standard onboard gratuities (tips) will be pre-paid for you. You will have complimentary wi-fi service on one device, and you will have a dinner in one of the ship’s specialty restaurants. Like I said, the value of all the extras is worth more than the cruise itself!

You can also upgrade to one of the ship’s Mini Suites, which give you about 50% more space, both in the room and on your balcony, for just $390 per person. You can find out more about the “Passengers’ Favorite” Royal Princess, by clicking on this link:

This price also includes round-trip transfers from the Seattle area to and from the pier in Vancouver. We will have a pick-up location available in the Sea-Tac Airport area, in Lynnwood, and in the Burlington area. At the end of the cruise, we will also offer a drop-off at Sea-Tac Airport. We will also have a special rate at our Sea-Tac Airport area hotel if you would like to stay there the night prior to the cruise. Our transfer bus will then pick you up right at the hotel. For those that are flying into Seattle, this hotel will provide a complimentary shuttle from the airport to the hotel. For those driving, the hotel will also offer a discounted parking rate, to leave your car for the entire time of your stay and the full cruise. If you decide to fly or drive into Vancouver, you will be on your own for transfers to the pier, but we will give you $100 per person in onboard credits on the ship. You do not need to make any of these decisions at this time. About 45 days before the cruise, you will receive a questionnaire, where you can check-off your option for a bus pick-up point or the shipboard credit. At that time, you can also order a pre-cruise or post-cruise hotel, with or without parking.

This is a fantastic cruise, at a great price…and included “extras” that are worth almost as much as the cruise! Also, with the Princess “Cruise With Confidence” guarantee, you can cancel up to 30 days in advance, for any reason, and get the full amount paid returned to you in future cruise credits.
