I hope you had a good time ringing in the New Year. I hope that 2024 Is a happy and healthy year for everyone.
Last week, just before the holiday, we sent out an e-mail for our “British Isles Adventure” aboard the Regal Princess. I knew it was a great cruise and a fantastic price, but I also knew that we had 1100 travelers leaving the same week on month-long cruises. I was surprised on Saturday to be called at home to tell me we are overbooked. We had room for 200 people and I thought that it would be safe to send this out on the weekend.
Princess agreed to cover our over-bookings and then then gave us room for 50 more…so we now have 300 Travel With Alan travelers on this trip. Now they are offering us room for 60 more! If you want a great deal on a beautiful ship with very interesting itinerary, don’t overlook this one. This cruise takes you to so many interesting ports of call in Europe and the British Isles. You will visit the Azores, the mainland of Europe, and many towns in Ireland, Scotland, and the U.K…you may even see the Loch Ness Monster! WOW. This is a fantastic itinerary. Onboard the Regal Princess, we have, once again, included the full “Princess Plus” package. This gives you complimentary drinks, throughout the cruise, including cocktails, sodas, smoothies, beer, wine by the glass, and more. You also get complimentary Wi-Fi, two meals in one of the ships special “casual” restaurants, and more. Also, you daily “crew appreciation” charges are all pre-paid.
Your cruise will end on May 3rd, in Southampton, England. After leaving the Regal Princess in Southampton, you will be taken on a castle tour, before transferring to London and your first-class, mid-town hotel, where you will have a two-night stay with breakfast daily. The next day you will have a London city tour, showing you many of the famous icons of London. That evening, you will have a farewell dinner. On May 5th, we will transfer you to London’s Heathrow Airport, for your return fight home.
As usual, the best part about this package is the price….just $5650 per person, based on double occupancy. Government taxes, fees, and port expenses of $418 per person are additional. The single supplement for solo travelers is $4450.
This price already includes an upgrade to a Balcony Stateroom. You can also upgrade to a larger “Deluxe Balcony Stateroom for an additional $540 per person. For an additional $1080 per person, based on double occupancy, you can go all the way up to a very spacious Princess Mini-Suite.
Aside from everything else I mentioned, the price also includes round-trip air, into Fort Lauderdale and returning from London, from most major U.S. Airports. There may be a small surcharge from some Canadian Airports. So, for this tour, everything is handled for you.
