Summer is coming and the cruise lines are reporting record bookings, but we still have some great “Alan” deals coming in on some amazing cruises and tours.

Most importantly, this is an amazing cruise visiting many cities and countries that I have never been to…but want to. This river cruise takes you to Romania, Bulgaria, Servia, Croatia, Hungary, Slovakia, Austria, and Germany.
Join our group on either September 21st or October 13th as we fly to Bucharest, Romania. Upon arrival in Bucharest, you will transfer to a first-class hotel for a one-night pre-cruise stay at a first-class hotel. The next day you will have a Bucharest city tour before boarding your Avalon “Suite Ship” for a 16-night river cruise, in a Panorama Suite. Day 3 Cernavoda. Excursion to Constanta: Guided sightseeing, visit the National History and Archaeological Museum in Constanta; wine tasting

Day 13 Bratislava:Choice of guided sightseeing in Bratislava, visit St. Martin’s Cathedral or hike up to Bratislava Castle with your Adventure Host

Day 15 Dürnstein–Wachau Valley–Ybbs. Excursion to Melk: Choice of guided walk or hike up to the castle ruins in Dürnstein; cruise through the Wachau Valley; choice of guided visit of the Benedictine Abbey in Melk, Ybbs city sightseeing with Artstetten Castle visitng in Mohács, visit St. Nicolas watermill
Day 16 Linz: Guided sightseeing, see Hauptplatz and the Trinity Column
Day 17 Passau: Schlögen Oxbow scenic cruising; choice of guided tour or hike with your Adventure Host
Day 18 Vilshofen (Disembarkation): Transfer to the Munich Airport for your flight home.
Your cruise will end on October 9th or October 31st in Vilshofen, Germany. After leaving the ship, you will be transferred to Munich, Germany for your flight home.
During the cruise, almost everything is included. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are included each day aboard the ship, in addition to snacks. There is even complimentary wine, beer, and soft drinks included each day at lunch and dinner. Equally important, there are INCLUDED shore excursions and tours in each of the cities you will be visiting. In some cities, you will even have a choice of tours, as shown above. This makes for a very inclusive package.
By the way, the October 13th departure is a special “Wine Lovers Cruise”, featuring a “wine master”. The cruise will feature special wine lectures, wine tastings, wine pairing dinners and wine tour offerings, in addition to the regular programming.
As usual, the best part about this cruise is the price…$7850 per person, based on double occupancy. The single supplement, for solo travelers is $3400. Cruise taxes/fees/fares/port charges of $480 per person are additional.
