Greetings from cloudy Lynnwood. We had a great weekend in Seattle….so we enjoyed the sun while it was here!
We are getting full-swing into Alaska mode here. We have one group making their way across the Alaskan Interior toward Fairbanks. Yesterday we had one group returning from their 14-day Seattle to Alaska cruise and another group departing on the same cruise. This Friday we have a group leaving for their Azamara “Alaska Intensive” Voyage. On Saturday we have another group leaving for their Alaska and Yukon tour and on Sunday we have another group leaving for their Alaska land and sea cruise/tour. Next week, we’ll have over 400

travelers on different Alaska cruises and tours!
Last month we had a group return from an Azamara “Japan Intensive” cruise aboard the Azamara Quest. Everyone loved the cruise. A cruise ship is a great way to see Japan as the country is narrow and most of the major cities are on the coast. Also, hotel rooms are so expensive in Japan, as are meals, but with a cruise ship, all of that is included!
I have written to you many times about Azamara Club Cruises. There is such a family, country club experience onboard and, by the end of the cruise, everyone wants to adopt all of the ship’s crew! Our group members love the very friendly crew and the small ship experience with a high ratio of crew to guest. They love the fact that the smaller ships can get into ports that the bigger ships cannot….and can often get closer into town. They also love all of the “extras” that are included……things that you pay extra for on other cruises…. like wine, beer, cocktails, bottled water, sodas, juices, specialty coffees, shuttle buses and more. Even all of the tips are included with an Azamara cruise. Also, on most Azamara Cruises, there is an “Azamazing Evening”. This is a special evening shore excursion for the entire ship……usually doing something that you couldn’t possibly do on your own.
This cruise with Azamara is called their “Japan Intensive Voyage”. On this cruise you are in port almost every day. You even have an overnight in the port of Kobe. All of the ports-of-call are in Japan, except for one very full day in Busan, South Korea. Normally, Japan is such an expensive place to visit but, with this cruise, you get the best of everything and a very extensive tour of cities, large and small, all over the islands of Japan.
Join our group on August 19
th
as we fly from cities all across the US and Canada to Tokyo, Japan. Upon arrival in Tokyo, you will be met and transferred to a first-class hotel for a one-night pre-cruise stay. On August 21st you will be met and transferred to the Yokohama Pier where you will board the beautiful Azamara Quest. From Yokohama, you will cruise to:
- Aomori, Japan
- Akiti, Japan
- Kanazawa, Japan
- Sakaiminato, Japan
- Busan, South Korea
- Kitayushu, Japan
- Hiroshima, Japan
- Takamatsu, Japan
- Kobe, Japan (overnight in port)
- Shimizu, Japan
- Tokyo (Yokohama), Japan
What an itinerary! Also, on this cruise, you have an included Azamazing Evening in Busan, South Korea, at the Busan Cultural Center. You will be treated to a traditional Korean performance including Korean dance and a Tae Kwan Do demonstration.
Your cruise will end in Yokohama, Japan on September 4
th
. After disembarking that morning, you will board our exclusive coaches for a Tokyo city tour. You will be given a panoramic tour of some of the top sights in Tokyo. Your tour will end at our first-class Tokyo hotel where you have a post-cruise hotel stay included. The next day, on September 5
th
, you will be transferred to the airport for your return flight home.
As usual, the best thing about this cruise and tour is the price……just $6199 per person, based on double occupancy. This is a great price and so many extras are included. This price includes round-trip airfare from over 40 U.S. and Canadian gateways round-trip to Tokyo…….and from many other cities, large and small, for a very low add-on. This price also includes all of the taxes and port charges. The one-night pre-cruise package in Tokyo is included, as is the post-cruise Tokyo city tour, one-night post cruise package and the transfers. This price also includes an automatic upgrade to a Club Veranda Stateroom…. with a private balcony. This is a deal! Actually, this cruise is $1800 per person LESS than the one we just offered…. although it is being offered a bit closer in. But, if you are the type that can plan a trip like this, with just two-weeks’ notice…. this is a deal for you! For this cruise we also have upgrades available to a “Club Continent Suite” aboard the Quest. These suites are rarely available at our group rates and people LOVE them. These suites are 50% larger than the standard “Club Veranda” staterooms and the balcony is 50% larger as well. These suites come with a number of additional amenities including:
·
English butler service
·
240 complimentary internet minutes per guest
·
Two bags of complementary laundry service per suite
·
Complementary seating in the ship’s specialty restaurants
·
Priority embarkation and disembarkation
·
Complementary in-suite spirits
·
In-suite afternoon tea service
For this cruise, you can treat yourself to one of these suites guilt free……the total cost for these suites, with the upgrade, is still $50 per person LESS than the cost of a Club Veranda stateroom the last time we offered this cruise!
For this cruise we have an excellent single supplement, just $1390 for the Club Verandah staterooms and $1850 extra for the Club Continent Suites……. this is unheard of!
We only have 40 staterooms for his cruise and I’m sure they will go very quickly. To reserve your spot, give us a call at:
1-855-885-9252
We will be here today until 5:30 PM and we will then re-open in the morning at 9:00 AM, Pacific Time. Have a great week and enjoy summer!
