Hello, once again, from sunny Lynnwood, Washington,
I know that I just wrote to you last night, but we’ve put together an “end-of-the-summer” super special, that I wanted to get to you right away.
Princess is going to be doing a 4-day “Alaska Sampler” cruise on September 26th to Ketchikan Alaska, and back on the beautiful Crown Princess. We were able to reserve a large block of cabins at an unbelievable price for this cruise…and with TONS of extras! I think that this cruise will be most appealing for our travelers from the Pacific Northwest, but of course, all are welcome.
Our trip will begin on August 26 from a private parking lot by Seattle’s Pier 91. This is where our charter buses will be picking up our group for the transfer to Vancouver’s Canada Place Pier. Upon arriving in Vancouver, the party begins! We will board the Crown Princess and begin our 4-day cruise. That afternoon, the ship will depart the pier and sail under the Lion’s Gate Bridge, making its way to the Inside Passage. The next day, along with enjoying all the meals, activities, shows, pampering, and the ship’s amenities, we will have spectacular views, on both sides of the ship, as we are making our way through British Colombia to Alaska. On September 28th, we will have a full day in the town of Ketchikan, Alaska…there is so much to do in Ketchikan. On September 29th, we will sail southbound to the Strait of Juan de Fuca. In the early morning hours of September 30th, we will sail into Puget Sound, making our way south past Bellingham, Everett, Edmonds and more as sail towards Seattle’s Pier 91. Later that morning, we will disembark in Seattle!
Now for the most incredible part…. The cost for this 4-night/5-day package is $469 per person, based on double occupancy. Government taxes, fees, and port expenses of $164 per person are additional. This price includes the one-way transfer from Seattle’s Pier 91 area to Vancouver’s Canada Place Pier. The single supplement for solo travelers in a balcony stateroom is $390. This package also includes a guaranteed upgrade to a Balcony Stateroom. You can also upgrade to one of Princess’ large “Mini-Suites” for an additional $195 per person. This price also includes the “Princess Plus” package, which includes a bunch of special onboard amenities. The biggest feature of this package is the “Princess Plus Open Bar” package, which gives you complimentary beer, wine by the glass, soft drinks, specialty coffees, and cocktails, up to $15 each, in any of the ship’s bars, cafes, and restaurants. In addition, your “crew appreciation” or onboard gratuities, are all prepaid. So, you can just show up, have a good time, enjoy the meals, and onboard pampering and leave your wallet in your pocket!
For those of you who are driving to the cruise, we are finalizing the details for parking right by the pier. You will be able to park your car at the secured lot, which is where our shuttle will pick you up, for the transfer to Vancouver for $80 per car, which includes tax, for the entire time. When you get off the ship in Seattle, at the end of the cruise, shuttle buses will be standing by to take you on the 5-minute ride back to your car. Details about parking will be sent by email next week to those that sign-up for this cruise. For those of you not using our bus transfer from Seattle to Vancouver, we have a $50 per person, “no transfer credit”, this must be requested at the time of booking.
This is a deal and a half…and, although we have room for 300 people, it will go very quickly.
