Hello, once again, from gray but warmer Lynnwood, Washington!
We have been busy, here at the office, booking up all of our new tours. We have been selling-out in record time.
Our Seabourn packages are becoming more and more popular. When you first look at the price tag for these cruises, the price might seem a bit high. But then, when you add up all that’s included…all of the things that you pay for, one way or the other, and realize that many of these are included with a Seabourn cruise, the price is very reasonable.
On a Seabourn cruise, all of the rooms are classified as “suites”. Aboard the Seabourn Encore, all of the rooms are Veranda Suites, with a private balcony. All of the meals are included as well as all drinks…even the onboard gratuities. Each Suite has a fully stocked bar…stocked in advance based upon your preferences. Also, the Seabourn Encore carries only 600 guests. She can visit the smaller ports and stay for extended hours. When you add up all that’s included with the cruise and add all of the features of our Travel With Alan package, it makes for a fantastic deal. Most importantly, you know that you will be pampered royally on a Seabourn cruise.

Join our group on May 10th, as we fly from cities across the U.S. and Canada to Athens, Greece. Upon arrival in Athens, you will transfer to a first-class Athens Airport area hotel, for a one-night pre-cruise stay. This will give you a chance to rest up and acclimate, after flight from North America. The next morning you will have a big breakfast buffet at the hotel. Then, mid-day, you will transfer to the port of Piraeus, where you will board the spectacular Seabourn Encore. After settling in for the next two weeks, you will set sail to these amazing ports of call:

· Antalya, Turkey
· Marmaris, Turkey
· Agios Nikolaos, Crete, Greece
· Milos, Greece
· Piraeus, Greece
· Gytheio, Greece
· Khania, Crete, Greece
· Mykonos, Greece
· Kuşadasi, Turkey
· Çeşme, Turkey
· Piraeus (Athens), Greece
This is a great itinerary, featuring Kusadasi, Turkey, home of Ephesus, Your itinerary also includes three additional ports in Turkey, one in Cypress, and six additional ports in Greece. This is a great way to visit all of these beautiful Mediterranean port of call in one vacation.
Each day, after visiting these exciting ports of call, you will return to your floating luxury hotel at sea. Staff will be waiting to greet you with a chilled cloth and to welcome you back home. Once onboard, your favorite bartender will be waiting to make you your favorite cocktail or mocktail, or a specialty coffee or tea, along with some snacks. You know that every evening you will be treated to an amazing meal, served with fine wines, if you like. You will see some amazing shows or perhaps enjoy the music or dancing in the lounges. You couldn’t ask for more.
Your cruise will end in the Port of Piraeus, outside of Athens, on May 26th. Upon leaving the ship, our local guides will be there to meet you. We will then board our chartered coaches and make our to Athens. In Athens, we will have a city tour, featuring admission to the New Acropolis Museum. We will then check-in to our first-class Athens hotel for a two-night stay, with a beautiful breakfast buffet each morning.
The next day will be a free day in Athens. That evening, we will had out to my favorite, family owned and operated Greek Restaurant for a wonderful Greek dinner and a Greek folkloric show. Lots of music, dancing, and breaking plates.
The next day, on May 28th, you will be transferred back to the airport for your flight home. This is a great itinerary…in a different port each day, with only two days at sea!
As usual, the best part about this package is the price…$7350 per person. This price includes round-trip air from most major U.S. and Canadian Airports to Athens, the one-night pre-cruise stay in Athens, the 12-night cruise aboard the Seabourn Encore, an upgrade to a category “V2” Veranda Suite, and all transfers. Government taxes, fees, and port expenses of $475 per person are additional. The single supplement for solo travelers is $4,975 per person. You can also upgrade to the best Veranda Suite locations in a “V4” Veranda Suite for an additional $550 per person. These suites have the best upper-deck, mid-ship location. Or you can go to a huge “Penthouse Suite, with a separate bedroom, for an additional $2950 per person.
May is a good time for touring in the Mediterranean. The average high temperature in Athens in May is 75°F (24°C) and the average low is 57°F (14°C) …Just right!
