Quo vadis?
Greetings!

This spring season feels different - in a good way! As the cogs of world travel slowly begin to turn again, we couldn't be more excited about the barriers to our wanderlust coming down.

Entry requirements are falling like dominoes. In the last month, we've seen many countries and East and Southern Africa, in South America, in Europe and in Australasia (among others) scrap PCR testing requirements for vaccinated travellers, and we expect this cascade to continue. Hopefully the USA will soon follow suit.
Travel theme for 2022?
Go Big and be Eco-aware!
As travel restrictions ease and consumer confidence returns we are seeing a significant increase in bookings with a strong desire for those bucket-list trips that also takes care of our planet.

Explore Canada by Sea
From ship or shore, the natural landscapes of the Canadian Arctic are astounding. Peregrinating through the super-natural waters north of the Arctic Circle is an extraordinary experience, as one comes face to face with Polar Bears - the King of the North, gargantuan ice floes that are both savage and tranquil, the overpowering sound of calving glaciers and cathedral-size icebergs dwarfing everything around them.

Inuit guides share insights into northern traditions through visual storytelling and cultural display. Historians lead educational presentations and field visits to historical sites, including locations associated with Sir John Franklin’s ill-fated expedition.

Just in time for Earth Day
Praise is rolling in for the book The Carbon Footprint of Everything by Mike Berners-Lee, a leading expert in the field who created this calorie guide for the carbon-conscious.
The book launches just in time for Earth Day on Friday. I'd love to hear what you think of it.

If you want to participate in an Earth Day event, check out https://earthday.ca/ for ideas.
I like the one about calling in sick on Friday - if only I had a boss who would cover for me 🙂
The Galapagos effect!
I wish you a happy and healthy Spring and look forward to planning your next great adventure.
