Accessing IHG's travel agent rates is easy.
Here's how you can do it in a few easy steps:

To book IHGs rates, you need to be logged into our IHG travel agent portal. If you don't have one, you can register here. Use our IATA number 05765734 to set up an account with IHG.
- You will be sent an email from IHG confirming your application. It may take 30 minutes to receive an email that your account has been approved. Once you receive the email with your temporary password you can log in to your IHG travel agent account. You will be required to change your password when you log in.

Each listing in our condo section is from a different inventory provider. To maximize the availability in the destinations that you want to travel to, we use multiple vendors. We are always searching for more sources of condo inventory. |

Once you are on the goldrushweeks.com home page, you can use the search bar or click any of the pictures / links to be taken to the map view (above). |

Map View
On the map view you can zoom in / out by using the scroll wheel on your mouse. Click and hold your left mouse button to grab the map. While grabbing the map, move your mouse in any direction to pan the map. Click any numbered cluster of resorts to zoom in on that location.
Note the "Hot Weeks" and "Resort" check boxes in the top left of the map area. You can uncheck "Resorts" to search only hot weeks (hot weeks do not require a condo certificate).

Holding or Booking a Resort
Once you zoom in on a destination you will see a list of properties on the right side of the map. Click any property to bring up the information for that property. Notice the tabs at the top for Studio, 1 Bedroom, 2 Bedroom units (image below). Notice the view, reserve and hold buttons. Click view to bring up a new window that has information about the property, its facilities, as well as pictures and policies. To make a booking you will choose the reserve button. To place a 24-hour hold, click hold. Note that holds will be visible by clicking the icon at the top of the page that looks like a human torso with your name next to it, to the right of the "wallet". You can return to your holds to book them or release them.
Note: You do not need to use the "wallet", you can pay for a reservation without storing a credit card on the website.

Before you book - Mandatory Fees
We recommend that you click "view" for any resort that you are interested in. Scroll down to the policy area and look for "Mandatory Fees" and "Resort Fees" for all-inclusive properties. Here you will see any resort fee, local government fee, all-inclusive fee, etc. Notice the image to the right says "per reservation", not per person. You can also see if the property allows animals and the minimum age requirements to check in, which may be 18 or 21.
Some properties have no resort fee at all, but you don't want any unwelcome surprises, so you should always check before you buy.

Paying for the Reservation
Once you click reserve you will see a banner that says you have 30 minutes to pay for the reservation.
|
|
Click "checkout" to be taken to the reservation page. Click "pay with a new card" if you don't have one saved (you don't need to save a card in the wallet). Select a traveler or "add new traveler". Read all resort policies and click "I have read and accept the Resort's Policies , Terms of Service and Privacy Policy".
Once you click continue, you will be taken to the Stripe payment page. If you already have a Stripe account or if you have used Stripe on your computer with another company, you may see a saved form of payment. You can click "check out as guest" to log out of Stripe and enter a different card. If you don't have a Stripe account you will see a blank form.

Email Confirmation
Upon successful payment, you will receive an email with your reservation details.

Grab a stein and some lederhosen, Oktoberfest is the theme of this months issue of Travelwise™! This year Oktoberfest in Munich runs from September 17th to October 3rd.
Oktoberfest is by far the largest beer festival in the world, attracting more than 7 million visitors to Munich every year. The 16-day event's temporary sparkling city of 34 vast beer tents, fairground attractions, music and specially brewed beer served in Masskrüge liter mugs certainly makes for a memorable experience.
About 6.9 million liters of beer are consumed over the course of the festival (that's enough to fill 43,000 bathtubs). In addition the beer, traditional Bavarian food is also served, including Hendl, salt-roasted chicken, and Dampfnudl, sweet dumplings served with vanilla sauce.
The atmosphere Oktoberfest is known as one giant, joyous party, with Bavarian brass band music played in every tent, each of which has its own personality. The 10,000-person Hofbräu-Festzelt tent is especially festive, where it's possible meet travelers from all around the world.
It's best to book tickets in advance and reserve a table in one of the major tents. There are also tour operators that sell tickets with reserved tables and city tours, such as Viator or Oktoberfesttours.
