TraxComm's Fibre Network Expansion Under Way Along the New East Rail Line Cross-Harbour Extension

Thanks to our parent company MTR Corporation’s continued support, TraxComm’s fibre optic infrastructure coverage and expansions have been made possible under the highly secure environment of MTR premises exclusively, following the footprints of most MTR lines and stations.

In line with the opening of MTR’s East Rail Line Cross-Harbour Extension in May this year, TraxComm’s ongoing network expansion is again earmarked along the new railway section to roll-out our unparalleled fibre network services.

Along the newly extended fibre-optic infrastructure, TraxComm provides its premium DCI service under a highly secure and fully protected network, achieving fast convergence time and low latency, while offering 1G/10GE point-to-multipoint connections and spanning 46 major data centres throughout Hong Kong.

Meanwhile, TraxComm will be launching additional data centre facilities soon to further increase its capacity in meeting the growing demands for our Tier 3+ infrastructure.
