Oh, Lord, today Jesus assures me that His Spirit will dwell within me when I keep His word, that the Father will love me and will make his dwelling within me. This "indwelling" of the Spirit is what gave St. Paul the power to heal the crippled in Lystra in the Acts of the Apostles in today's first reading. Christ's promise in today's Gospel assures me of His love for me and His desire to send the Holy Spirit to me. Give me Your grace this day to keep Your word, the same word that the Father sent You to speak to Your people. I ask for this grace especially today. Amen.
