Palmetto Bay Tree Shading Program Underway
As part of the Neat Streets Miami Tree Matching Grant Program, the Village is planting trees in the swales of the areas indicated on the map below. The plantings are part of a process to refurbish the Village tree canopy post Hurricane Irma.

Fifty Florida native and/or Florida-friendly trees are being added to these neighborhoods, with the job targeted for completion no later than June. Beneath the map below is the notice being left on doors of all homeowners in the affected areas.

The photos were taken as work began today, May 13th, with Village of Palmetto Bay Grants Specialist Jenny Polynice-Hall monitoring the work of landscapers.
