GIVING CHEERFULLY AND ACCEPTING GRATEFULLY
I've been thinking a lot about gratitude lately. The Greek storyteller and fabulist Aesop is credited with saying, “Gratitude turns what we have into enough.” It transforms standard days into thanksgivings, routine jobs into enjoyment, and ordinary opportunities into blessings. It is also the essence of community. My mother, June Holmgren, often expressed her love for this community and her friends. In her journal, she wrote, “I am grateful I live in a community where people learn of you when you are born and care about you when you die.”
I am grateful to have served as your mayor for almost three years. During that time, I have made new acquaintances in our community, witnessed our strengths, and addressed our challenges. I also observed the good you do and how many of you care deeply about our community. In his recent Memorial Day service address in Tremonton, Gov. Cox noted, “There is something different and special about this place and the people who live here.” We all seek happiness and a better way of life. This can be achieved through what is done for us and, at least in part, through the good we do for others by volunteering. READ MORE.......

Decembers Contest: Holiday Decorating Contest.
Do you have Christmas Spirit? Then show it to the whole city! It's time for our Holiday Decorating Contest! This contest is open to Tremonton City Residents and nominations are due by December 13th. If you have the most festive house on the block, then we would like to know! You can also nominate someone who you think is worthy. Tremonton City invites all of its residents and businesses to enter in the Holiday Decorating Contest. This is a great way to show off your community pride and spread cheer throughout the holiday season. It's also a perfect project for the entire family to enjoy, so, pull out your Santa, sled, reindeer, wreath and, of course, don't forget the lights!

UDOT to repair and replace bridges beginning Monday, August 12th with 1000 N. over I-84 at Garland/Bothwell interchange. There will be a full closure of this bridge for 2-3 months. Please follow detours.
In Early Spring through Fall of 2025, crews will be working on the SR-102 bridge at the Tremonton/Bothwell Interchange. Expect alternating one way traffic controlled by temporary signals at each end of this bridge.

The roadway and signal work that has been taking place at the intersection of SR-102 and SR-13 (The Crossroads) will be going into winter shutdown around the beginning of December. The work is not complete. The intersection will be in a temporary configuration through winter. The new signal will be active for intersection control. In the spring, work will recommence and should be complete by the early summer. It will include pavement widening on the east and west legs of the intersection, similar to what has been done on the north and south legs this fall. This will be followed by a pavement seal coat and re-striping the intersection to the final striping design layout. The final striping layout will include the addition of dedicated left turn lanes for each leg of the intersection. Winter is here and the snow will become heavier and more frequent. Remember that there is no overnight parking in the streets between December and February and to keep roads clear for our Snow Removal Crews. Any car, trailer or object may be towed if necessary and/or may be cited.

Parks and Recreation focuses on what is important in development from our smallest athletes up through our Prep Leagues and on to Adult. We understand the importance of age progression and have leagues specifically designed for their specific needs.

Jr Jazz Registration is open for Kids turning 4 by Sept. 2 2025 up through 12th Grade! We have a league for all ages with All-Ball, FUNdamentals, IttyBitty, Develepmental and Prep Leagues. Spots fill up fast so get your kids signed up today! Early Registration deadline is December 2nd but sign up early to guarantee a spot.

Each night, Participants will be divided onto courts with players of a similar skill level where you will play with and against every other person on the court. points % will be gathered each week with overall % points determining rankings.
We have three different Leagues to choose from, Beginner - Advanced. Please signup for your correct experience level.

This Group Class is designed to give youth an introduction into the Martial Arts and helps develop confidence and coordination. It is also a fun way for both boys and girls to achieve fitness and focus while learning self-discipline and socialization skills. Participants will want to dress comfortably in sweats or workout clothing. Karate Belts will be given at the end of the league. League runs for 6 weeks.
The type of Karate that will be taught will be Hap Ki Do (Tae Kwon Do). There will also be an introduction to Shorinji Kempo.

Tremonton Lights: Christmas Light Show begins Nov. 27 at 5:00 pm at the Tremonton City Office. Park in the Food Pantry Parking lot and please turn off your lights. the show alternates nightly.

Directors Message
It has been such a fun and memorable year. We have tried some new things, some good, some not and we have continued many of our traditions. As always, if there is something that you are interested in, we are always looking for new ideas. My staff and I love our jobs, the people we work along side are great, but serving each one of you is the real treat. I hope our genuine love and caring shows in all that we do. We want each one of you to feel special and important because you truly are. When you don’t call, we miss you. When you are not home, my drivers are very concerned about you. We hope that you all have a wonderful holiday season. Please, if there is anything that I personally can do to make your life better and brighter, I want to know. I will do my very best to fulfill your holiday wishes. With love from me to you I wish you a Very Happy Thanksgiving, a Marvelous Christmas and a Bright and Shiny New Year!

With the costs of food and everything else going up, BRAG has
decided to raise our lunch prices. As always if you are over 60
years of age, this is a suggested donation. We will be going from
$3.75 to $4.00 for Dine-in, Pick-up and Delivered meals starting
January of 2025.
Anyone who would like to join us for lunch and is under 60 years
of age will be required to pay $12.00. We appreciate your
patience with us through these tough times.
