has arrived! What's so different about this new typesetting?
First, it's a Reader Bible..sort of. We have taken out the 'non-inspired' text- headings, verse numbers, etc - so the text is clean of man-made conventions - but we've put them in the margin - so you can still find Bible 'addresses.'
Second. It's amazingly legible. For its size - the deep bold and elegant font give it a legibility rating that would surpass some 'large print' Bibles.
Third. And this gives its true uniqueness (for the KJV) - poetic sections are 'set off' or indented in block format. In the New Testament poetic sections and Old Testament poetry are similarly 'set off' or indented in block format. Most KJV Bibles are double column and versified (each verse starts a new line). The flow of the text is broken artificially by these numbers and markers. The Treveris setting gives you a more natural (and ancient) presentation. It's only natural that "The noblest monument of English prose" be given a format that features its unrivaled poetic mastery.
