Eastern Campus Leadership: Change is Everywhere
|
|
For the past three years, the Eastern Campus has been strategically lead by Lisa Williams, Ph.D. With the events of the pandemic and two campus president retirements, changes in leadership occurred. Williams is now leading Tri-C's Western Campus and William Cunion, Ph.D. is serving the Eastern campus as interim president during the search process, which is well underway.
Cunion has been with Tri-C since 2014, serving as associate dean of liberal arts and dean of academic affairs at the Eastern Campus. A graduate of the Mandel Leadership program and recipient of the College’s 2019 Community Champion Award, Cunion has spent more than 20 years in higher education. "I am so pleased to have an opportunity to serve as the interim president of the Eastern Campus, while we search for a replacement for the irreplaceable Dr. Williams."

A Message from the Interim President
|
|
Welcome to a new and hopeful academic year. I sincerely wish you all a healthy and successful year of education. May we all be well as we move into autumn and all the activities of the season ramp up.
Having served in various leadership roles over the last seven years at the College, it goes without saying that I'm honored to step into the role of interim president, moving the College in a positive direction of more connection and collaboration with our community while continuously improving our quality education.
We are happy to be back on campus with approximately 55% of our classes on ground. While we believe a return to school can happen safely, there are still precautions we are taking as a school community to ensure the safest environment for staff to teach and for our students to learn.
Please don't hesitate to reach out to me if there is anything I can do for you.
Warmly,
Bill Cunion, Ph.D.
Interim President, Eastern Campus
