Happy September!
Welcome to our 2020-2021 year full of fun events. These are monthly events that I know you will enjoy - from Wine & Cheese tasting - to - Makeover tips - to - a Floral Design event just in time for Thanksgiving plus many many more! Our traditional Fall Fiesta will be in October - virtually this time. See the details for this fun evening. Recruitment Sept 2020

Greek life is alive and well and while recruitment is looking different this year, chapters are excited to welcome their new members!!! As many of you know, recruitment has been held virtually on college campuses this fall. What does this look like? It includes chapter and potential new member videos and zoom parties, including pref and even Bid Day!!! Congratulations to recruitment teams, active members and advisors for their hard work to make this happen !

Recruitment results were strong overall with most universities seeing high numbers of potential new members and high pledge rates.
Most importantly, collegiate women are able and excited to participate in greek life as part of their college experience.

Tri Delta welcomes hundreds of new members and more to come as some schools are still in fall recruitment. Below, Welcome Home our new members from Dallas!!!

Spotlight

Natalie Beattie
Natalie Beattie, VP of Communications and Special Interest group lead for Deltas Walking. I am a Native Texan and transplanted Fort Worthian to Dallasite for the past 17 years. Keeping my house clean and organized after daily husband and son tornados is how I spend most of my time. Before Covid-19 I worked as a nurse at Baylor Uptown in the Recovery Department. I enjoyed being active in book clubs and wine and dine. My favorite workout is Pilates and I look forward to the day I can go back to my favorite studio. I love long bike rides along the Trinity Trails in Ft. Worth or through Fair Park. If there was any era I could visit it would be the Art Nouveau/ Art Deco era for its fashion, jewelry and art.

My husband Evan is a workaholic with a passion for architecture. It comes in handy when building a new house. He likes to stand in the middle of roads when on vacation, stare up at buildings with his camera in hand and have me divert cars from hitting him. He does take great photos so I only complain half the time.

My son Pierce loves bright colors, light sabers, any type of ball, sweet candies and wishes he could be a puppy. Covid-19 has been most tough on my son. When young kids need peer interaction for their development and I can see the sadness in my son’s face because we can’t socialize the way we use to, it hurts. But my son has also been the most resilient. He wakes up happy to see us each day, full of energy and smiles. Each day is a day to start over and have the best day possible. Sometime he tells me he had a fabulous day and I’m thankful for those.
