Saturday Rides Mt. Lemmon and 9-Mile

Hidden Hills/Nine Mile/Needle Rock
*New Ride Time- 6am*
Wheels down 6:00am from
Panera Bread
8777 N Scottsdale Rd, Paradise Valley 85253
**Please arrive at 545

Big Mt. Lemmon ride this weekend - various groups, various times, various claims of doubles, but generally departing from Le Buzz coffee shop at 6am and 7am. I am riding at 6am and have included the Cookie Cabin out and back route below.

Given the big ride down South we are a little thin on leaders for this week’s 9-mile ride. Having had the honor of leading 15 of the last 16 Saturday rides, I have one thing to say… HELP ME! Always looking for A,B and C leaders from the club membership to make this a safe, enjoyable and effective ride. EMAIL US i f you want to get on the schedule (choose your ride/distance, choose your intensity, lead…).

Here is this Saturday’s Ride/Route from Panera ( REMINDER: WHEELS DOWN 6AM )

Tri Scottsdale Saturday Ride is the always amazing Hidden Hills/Needle Rock/9-Mile. The A-Group does a mostly steady paced 65 mile route that will include the 6 mile out and back to Needle Rock (miles 28-34 on the route map). The B-Group will skip Needle Rock for a 59 mile ride, and everyone should (with luck) all see each other again on 9-mile and/or at the gas station at Alma School (mile 44 for the A’s, 38 for the B's) for a longer refresh before descending. Brief regroups at mile 12 (Hidden Hills gate), mile 16.5 ( SE corner of Palisades/Ft. Hills Blvd.) and right before we head up 9 mile. There is a water fountain and bathroom at the golf course at mile 26.5 if necessary. Please be discrete/polite even if the golfers are not. 65 mile route with cue sheet below.

From Our Sponsor:
The race toward financial independence is a test of endurance, and to build endurance, preparation is key. At Moors & Cabot, we help give you peace of mind by coaching you to reach your goals, preparing you for when the “crashes” come, and getting you to the “finish line” by providing independent, unbiased counsel designed to help you build, manage, protect, and transition wealth. “If we wait until we’re ready, we’ll be waiting for the rest of our lives.” –Unknown

Since 1890, Moors & Cabot has been around, and we are incredibly grateful to be a sponsor of Tri Scottsdale in 2019! To show our commitment to the club, we are offering individuals, families, businesses, and organizations a complimentary financial analysis to make sure you are positioned for success no matter what happens (and so you can afford those race fees for many years to come)! Already have an advisor? We are also offering a second opinion of the financial advice you are currently receiving. The M&C team is led by your very own Tri Scottsdale Member; Ashley Folkes, CFP®, CRPC®, RICP®.

If you need any additional information, have questions, or are ready to schedule, please contact Ashley Folkes at 602-468-7133 or e-mail him at afolkes@moorscabot.com .
