Growth is a super important part of all life, and it is crucial to success in business. It is no different for the Tri-State Chamber of Commerce. We need to grow and expand and reach new places and audiences in order to stay relevant, gain strength and serve our members and sponsors to the best of our ability. You Tri-Staters are a pivotal part of this process! When you talk up the TSC to neighbors and friends you help us grow! Word of mouth is the best kind of advertising in our rural region, and our ears are ringing! Keep up the good work everyone!
Not sure how to help? Start by visiting our website at  tristatechamber.com  and bookmark it as a great resource to quickly look up your fellow Tri-State Chamber businesses and non-profits! Visit our Facebook page:  https://www.facebook.com/TriStateChamberOfCommerce/  . Once there be sure to “like” and “follow” us. Take a look around and find yourself in one of the hundreds of photos from all our tremendous events! See a photo you like? SHARE it with your friends on Facebook, and tell them the story behind it! Become even more engaged by helping out at one of these fun events (a complete list of which is in the works as you are reading this.)
Thank you to all our SPONSORS and MEMBERS for making the Tri-State Chamber of Commerce a living, breathing and growing success!

I’m looking for entrepreneurs and small business owners who need photos of themselves to promote their business and grow their personal brand.

I’ve recently ventured in to Personal Brand Photography and completed a course in it. I’m looking to work with 2 people at a significantly discounted rate to practice everything I learned and make sure my workflow is running smoothly.
Together we’ll design a custom photoshoot that perfectly reflects your brand and story. You will receive 3 months worth of custom images for daily social media posting or to use anywhere you do business online. The discounted price for this is $500, which is WAY lower than I will be charging when I fully launch this new aspect of my business.

If you know someone who would love to get one of these spots, please send this post to them. If YOU are interested, send me an email and I’ll get you booked. They are on a first-come, first-served basis and will be officially booked once payment has been received.
Thank you!

Credit Card Churning: What is it and should you be doing it?
The term credit card churning is relatively new, but the process has been around for years. So, what is credit card churning? It's the practice of repeatedly opening and closing a credit card to earn its signup bonus over and over. Churners amass tons of reward points or airline miles from credit cards that they have no intention of continuing to use or even keep open. You've probably seen ads or even received offers in your email or mailbox from credit cards that offer valuable points, miles, or cash back to new account holders. Most also require you to charge a certain amount of money to the card within a certain period in order to receive the new card bonus. Continue Reading

Princes of Light and Darkness
Motets and Madrigals by Monteverdi and Gesualdo
For its early spring program Crescendo presents works by the legendary composers Claudio Monteverdi and Carlo Gesualdo. The Crescendo Vocal Ensemble and soloists are joined by Hideki Yamaya (theorbo) and Crescendo’s Artistic Director Christine Gevert (organ and direction).

Monteverdi is one of the most famous early Baroque composers – celebrated for his contribution to opera and sacred music. He lived in a time of great change, as the vocal polyphony of the Renaissance gave way to the textures of the early Baroque. He harnessed both styles with great skill and wrote successfully in every vocal genre. His contemporary Carlo Gesualdo’s vocal music is among the most experimental and expressive of the Late Renaissance. He is renowned for his intensely dramatic madrigals and sacred music that used a chromatic language not heard again for three centuries. Gesualdo was a brilliant musician whose troubled mind often expressed itself in his work.

Performances by are at 6pm on Friday, April 5 at Saint James Place in Great Barrington, MA and at 6pm on Saturday, April 6 at Trinity Church in Lakeville, CT.
Tickets: $35 general seating, $60 premium and $10 students. For more information and tickets, go to www.worldclassmusic.org .
