It's 60+ degrees outside today. So, I plan to ride around with the top down because, more snow is on the way this weekend. I love beautiful snowfalls, but dislike the ugly melting snow. For us, at The Shrimp Connection, the snowy weather isn't a problem as long as it stays away until all our products are sold. After that, let it snow, let it snow, because we have the next weekend off.

Each year, for years I have always given instructions on how our frozen blocks of shrimp, can be partially used and refrozen. This is still far better than any of the "stuff"sold in other markets. Since we've had our peeled and deveined shrimp that is individually quick frozen, I have been slack in how to take advantage of our 5-pound block boxes, so here it is:
Unwrap one end of the shrimp inside the box. Place that end into a colander and run COLD water on as much as you want thawed. Break off a chunk, rewrap your shrimp, place back into your freezer and allow the chunk of shrimp to thaw. That's it .
