The California Department of Housing and Community Development (HCD) is hosting a Tribal webinar on the proposed CDBG-DR Action Plan, covering the 2020 disasters.
As a result of the August and September 2020 wildfires (DR-4558) and the September, October, and November wildfires (DR-4569) the State of California received $231,203,000 of CDBG-DR funds to address disaster impacts and mitigate future disasters. The CDBG-DR funding must be spent within areas impacted by the disaster, including Butte, Fresno, Napa, Santa Cruz, Los Angeles, Shasta, Siskiyou, Solano, and Sonoma Counties. HCD will discuss the proposed CDBG-DR and mitigation programs, and the proposed funding timeline in the following public meeting webinar:
