Fall is in full swing, and the shelter is buzzing with furry fun, paw-some events, and heartwarming moments. As a 100% community-funded shelter, we rely on your support to keep the magic going for animals in need.

FEATURED EVENT: Pies for Paws & Claws: Preorder Now!

Nothing says fall like pie—and helping animals makes it even sweeter!

Preorder your 9” take-and-bake Dutch Apple, Mixed Berry, or Pumpkin pies now through Sunday, October 19, and support the animals at the Humane Society of Sheboygan County. Every pie sold helps provide care, comfort, and second chances for pets in need.

November 1st | 10 a.m.–2 p.m.

📍 Location: The Wreath Factory & Otter Creek Landscape, Plymouth

💵 Payment: Cash, check, or card accepted at pickup

🍽️ Bonus: Enjoy a bowl of chili and browse The Wreath Factory’s holiday shop!

Join us for fall fun, free brats, and furry friends at Fleet Farm’s Oktoberfest! We’ll be on-site with adoptable pets and accepting donations for the shelter!

Roll through Tommy’s Tunnel of Terror for a spooky good time — and a sparkling clean car! 💦 $2 per car supports HSSC’s lifesaving work.

Pigeon River Elementary School Vendor Fair

We’re joining our neighbors at Pigeon River Elementary for their annual Vendor Fair! The school will be collecting donations for our shelter throughout the day — stop by and say hi!

📅 October 20–26 | Grafton & Kohler PetSmart Stores

Celebrate National Adoption Week with us and our friends at PetSmart! 🐶🐱

Shop and donate all week long to support shelter pets, then stop by the Kohler store on October 25 to meet adoptable animals and bring some love home.

Meet Tyson

Meet Tyson, a 3-year-old American Bulldog with a pumpkin-sized heart and a smile that lights up the room. Tyson came to us as a stray, but you’d never know it from his playful spirit and endless love for people. He’s been waiting longer than any other pup at the shelter for his happily-ever-after, and we can’t figure out why — one look into those mismatched eyes and you’ll fall under his spell!

Tyson is equal parts silly and sweet — a master of zoomies, a toy collector, and a world-class snuggler. He’s ready to trade shelter life for a cozy couch and a family to call his own.
