Safety is so important!

Parents, please keep an eye on the kiddos this evening as the sun starts to set. We want to keep this tradition going and safety in our community is paramount!


NEW THIS YEAR: Safety Road Closures 4-5:30pm

The following streets will be closed during the event for safety:

Main closure: Washington Street will be closed from the bottom of Pleasant Street to Rockaway Street.

Detour routes: Traffic at the end of Pleasant Street will be detoured to turn left onto Washington Street.

Traffic on Washington Street will be directed to turn left onto Rockaway Street.

Additional road closure: There will also be a closure at the top of Summer Street.


These closures, effective from 4-5:30 pm. Residents and visitors are encouraged to look for a Halloween pumpkin image displayed in the windows of participating businesses, signaling where treats are available. The Marblehead Museum delighted to bring back the annual Pumpkin Illumination Contest, in partnership with the Marblehead Family Fund! Decorate your scariest, silliest, or most creative pumpkin for the honor of being named one of Marblehead's best pumpkin creators. 

 

This fun creative exhibition will take place in the Lee Mansion Garden, with the pumpkin illumination starting at 4pm!
