Let's Talk About The Logo - Continued

The Triennial logo is comprised of the image of the Triennial Woman along with the slogan in both English and Spanish. Two logos versions are presently on the website and available for download.

The logos are optimized for web and email use. They are not of sufficient quality to use with paper-print publications. If you need a logo for printing, screen printing, or stitching contact the [email protected].

As time progresses and we have requests for unique layouts for the logo we will add them to the webpage for download.

Triennial 2024 News

We are going to have a spirit-filled time at the Triennial Meeting in Louisville. Veterans of Triennial meetings past make the following suggestions that will have all attendees feeling their best:

  • Make sure you bring comfortable shoes. Although the layout for the meeting is fairly compact you will walk a fair amount each day.
  • Remember all your prescription medicines and the contact information for your pharmacy at home.
  • Bring over-the-counter medications with you as well. It is usually more convenient and less expensive than the options near the convention center. It would be wise to pack a COVID test kit, just in case.
  • A roller bag makes it easy to carry notebooks, papers and goodies from the Triennial meeting and the Exhibit Hall. The tote bag that you will be given at registration gets really heavy by the end of the meeting. You may want to put your name in your tote bag. There will be many identical bags out there.
  • Pack a few of your favorite snacks and protein bars. Bring a refillable water bottle. After all, we are Episcopalians and want to take care of our creation by limiting the number of plastic bottles we use.
  • Don’t forget to pack a sweater, jacket, or shawl. The meeting rooms can get cold!

History

THE FOURTH TRIENNIAL MEETING, 1883, Philadelphia, found 800 women present from 51 dioceses.

The Union for Black Episcopalians was formed in 1883; Sybil Carter was appointed by the Board of Missions to be the Visiting Agent (to the dioceses) in 1884; and 1885 was the founding year of the Daughters of the King.
