GIFT CARD CHRISTMAS FUNDRAISER - EXTENDED

The order deadline for the Gift Card Fundraiser has been extended to November 26 and Pick up to December 10.

It is time again for our Gift Card Christmas Fundraiser. The Gift Card program is a great way to raise funds for Trillium in your everyday spending, but at Christmas time it is an even greater benefit to Trillium as you think about your gift giving. As a reminder, a percentage of the face value of the gift cards comes back to Trillium. You can order gift cards as gifts themselves, or as a means of buying Christmas gifts. It is as easy as 1,2,3!

  1. Think about your shopping needs this season and have a look at the attached order form/list of retailers we have to offer. Click on the image to see the order form.
  2. Fill in the form with the number of gift cards in the denominations you would like to order.
  3. Bring your order to church on Sunday, November 26 and hand in to David Reed, or email your order to David at [email protected].

You don’t pay until you pick up your cards on Sunday, December 10. You can pay by cash, check, debit or etransfer!

Every order counts, even if it is just a couple of gift cards, so please consider placing an order. Thanks for your support!

AED - Demo - Sun. Nov. 26
Did you know we have an AED? There will be a demo at 9.45am on Sunday 26 November 2023 in the elevator lobby.

An AED, or automated external defibrillator, is used to help those experiencing sudden cardiac arrest. It's a sophisticated, yet easy-to-use, medical device that can analyze the heart's rhythm and, if necessary, deliver an electrical shock, or defibrillation, to help the heart re-establish an effective rhythm.

Stone Church Bookstore News
Janet Evanovich is one of America's most famous romance writers with more than two hundred million books in more than 40 languages in print worldwide. Evanovich's success wasn't immediate. She tried for ten years without success to write the Great American Novel before resorting to romance novels. When that didn't pay off she gave up on her dream to be a writer and found work at a temporary employment agency.

Several months after making what must have been a depressing decision, a publisher reached out and offered to publish her second novel and that set her on a path to becoming one of America's most prolific and successful writers.

On Sunday November 26, Stone Church Books will pay tribute to Evanovich and make her the author of the week. For that day, Evanovich fans will be able to stock up on her books, buying five for the special low price of $2.

The bookstore will be holding a Christmas Book Bonanza Dec. 2 and 3 and for those two days customers will be able to buy one book at our already super low price and get another of equal value free. Thousands of books are available, some by local authors, as well as others by some of the best authors in America and beyond.
The bookstore will be open Saturday morning, Dec. 2 and Sunday from 12 to 2 p.m. and again Tuesday night from 5 to 6 p.m.

The book sale will be held in conjunction with Trillium’s Christmas Market. Stop by the market Saturday morning and catch a bite to eat, stock up on your Christmas cookies and baked goods and be sure to visit the bookstore located in the church before you head home.
