Studying Colossians
Paul’s letter to the Colossian Church is short, being only 4 chapters in length, but it packs a big punch. Colossians was a primary source for the early Church as it attempted to understand the full scope of Christ’s mission in the world. It was also a source for Matthew Fox’s famous book, “The Coming of the Cosmic Christ.” Join Pastor Mark, on Tuesday evenings in January (beginning January 5) at 7 pm, as he leads a study of this letter.

Trillium during Provincial
 Shut Down
Due to the 28-day Provincial shut down starting December 26 Trillium is making the following changes:

  • The building will be officially closed for church-related activities and public access.

  • The sanctuary will no longer be open on Sunday morning for worshipers. Access to worship services will be via internet or phone only.

  • The church office will be closed.

  • Staff will work from home and may come in to pick up work-related materials.

~ Jayne Little, Chair, Church Council
The Generosity Team is pleased to announce that the Let It $now campaign raised $16,951 for Trillium. This falls short of our goal of $27,000. Still it is a very impressive amount considering the limitations imposed by Covid on fundraising. When one adds in the $9800 raised in 2020 for the Children and Youth Minister Position there has been strong financial support at the church from many people. Well done Trillium!

January 3 Re-cap
Trails are often marked out by blazes. A blaze is a stripe and when walking a trail they are usually found painted or nailed to trees, polls or even rocks and fences. They guide us and keep us on the right path. God also provides us with blazes that are meant to keep us on the right path. Join Mark as he reflects on what it means to follow the sacred blazes that are layed before us.
