Trillium's Christmas Fundraiser
Photographer and friend of Trillium, Diane Boyer is hosting a pop-up gallery at Trillium from now until December 15th. She is donating 20 of her landscape framed photographs to sell off in a year end fundraising blitz! 100% of sales go to Trillium. Some of the art work is presently hanging in the sanctuary for you to view/purchase. A couple of pieces have already sold so be sure to drop by to get yours today.

Against the Tide
Trillium is hosting a new film release called Against the Tide. The Focus of the movie is on the life of John Lennox, a professor of mathematics at Oxford University. Lennox has been a strong advocate for the Christian faith in an environment (the University) that has become indifferent or even hostile to matters of faith. Lennox is passionate that faith and science are compatible with each other. Alongside Lennox is well known actor Kevin Sorbo who provides an interesting conversation partner as they move through the university setting and finally journey to the Holy Land. If you'd like to know more information about the film please go to https://againstthetide.movie/

The showing will be limited to 30 people. If Waterloo Region goes to Red we will add additional viewings and reduce numbers to 10 people. Links for purchase of tickets and more information will be coming next week. Highly recommended.
Worship Services at Trillium
November 2020
Trillium continues to have the sanctuary open on Sunday morning for worshipers as long as it is deemed safe, and while we have willing volunteers to serve as greeters and ushers. Please refer to link below for the ongoing safety protocols for sanitizing, mask wearing and distancing.

Re-Opening Team appreciates the cooperation with safety protocols by those who have been attending worship in the sanctuary since October 4.

Worship services continue to be available on-line. For those who wish to stay home you can access either service by internet or by phone. A Sunday morning youth program is also available on-line.

For those new to Trillium, those attending worship in the sanctuary will view the on-line service on the projection screen. There is a “pew pack” for children who will remain with their families during this time.

Any questions should be referred to the Re-Opening Team.

Staff News

Council has made the difficult decision to lay off Trillium’s music director, Jason White, effective immediately.
This layoff is due to COVID and the resulting financial hardship. Jason has been advised that he will given first opportunity once the position is financially viable.

If you have questions re music, you may direct them to Worship chair, Ruth Thompson. Any others can be directed to Jayne Little, council chair.  We ask that you hold all in prayer.

November 15 Re-Cap
The windshield on your vehicle is your means of viewing the world around you as you drive. Keeping it clean is critical to safe driving. Yet how many of us keep the outside and inside of our windshield sparkling clean? Not too many judging by all the gunk that is commonly seen on them! We have a mental windshield that we see life through too. This mental windshield becomes covered in grime and dirt from the hard moments of life. Join Mark as he considers what it means to clean our mental windshield and gain a clean and pure vision.
