TRINITY CHURCH NOTE CARDS FOR SALE
HELP YOURSELF WHILE HELPING OTHERS!

Looking for something to give your loved ones at Valentine's Day and for confirmation, baptism, and later on this spring, graduation? What about gifts for upcoming birthdays, anniversaries, and other special days? All that shopping takes time and energy. The solution is at Trinity Episcopal Church, thanks to the Episcopal Churchwomen. Also, you can say goodbye to flipping through expensive, mass-produced cards in hopes of finding the right one to send thanks, birthday greetings, congratulations, or condolences or to say "Happy Easter" or "I'm thinking of you." That problem, too, has also been solved by Trinity's ECW.

Packs of beautiful notecards featuring a design of Trinity Church are for sale in the Trinity Church office . The original pen-and-ink/watercolor design that inspired the notecards is framed and hanging in Kuehnle Hall of Trinity Church. It is by award-winning artist Will Smith Jr. of New Orleans and Natchez, who grew up attending and loving Trinity Church.

Notecards with matching envelopes are available in packs of five for $10.

Proceeds from the note card sales benefit outreach programs of Trinity's Episcopal Churchwomen and help celebrate Trinity Church's 200th anniversary, 1822-2022. "We are delighted to offer these special notecards," said Phebe Winters, co-chairman with Cyndy Stevens of Trinity's ECW. "They are not only lovely but practical, and the money the sales generate will be put to good use helping people in our community."

We invite you to share in the 2018 Lenten email series from Episcopal Relief & Development. Each day during Lent you will receive a daily reflection, co-authored by a group of faith leaders from across the church. During this season of reflection on our Christian faith, their writings will enhance your spiritual journey as they both inspire and challenge you. Each daily meditation is presented in both English and Spanish.

A Prayer For This Week

Lord,

Teach me a new freedom.
Freedom to reject comparison
And to embrace uniqueness.
Freedom to cut ties with greed
And feast on love.

Freedom to abstain from over indulgence
And feast on self-control.
Freedom to leave behind selfish thoughts
And to focus on the needs of others.
Freedom to fend off insecurity
And to embrace grace.

Lord, at this time of Lent,
Thank you for the freedom you bring.

Amen.
