Moving-Past-Go - Wednesday Evenings in the Parish Hall
All are welcome to meet in the parish hall after Wednesday evening healing service to be part of a conversation about how we at Trinity Church can more fully live into our calling as Christians by becoming more inviting to our community, more welcoming to those who venture through our doors, and better able to connect newcomers into the life and mission of our parish. A light supper will be provided at 6:15, followed by the workshop session.
The tool we will be using for this conversation with be Mary Foster Parmer’s Invite Welcome Connect book, and it will be available for purchase in the parish office (and also at online sources). For more information, Contact Ann O’Bryant at the church. Purchase and reading of this book is not required to participate in the series on Wednesday night.
The Moving Past Go! workshop series led by the Trinity Evangelism Committee will be held January 9th through February 13th. The topics for each week in January are as follows:
January 9 - Session one: Introduction and Chapter 1
On Sunday, January 20th, there will be one service at 10:30 AM. Following the service the Church's Annual Meeting will be held in the Parish Hall. Brunch will be provided. A Prayer For This Week
Arise, shine, for the Light of the World has come!
Darkness covers the earth and its people,
but the radiance of God's Light
burns away its shadows,
illuminates the smallest corner,
and heralds in the start
of a new dawn,
where hearts no longer fear,
souls might be set free,
and sister shall follow brother,
nation shall follow nation,
and kings and princes bow down in awe
before the one who comes to reign.
Arise, shine, for the Light of the World has come!
