Holiday Sale Nets Funds for Church Programs
The pre-Christmas Holiday Sale, offered by the Tour of Homes Auction Committee, netted $709. Proceeds will go to the Vestry to be used as needed, for church programs and services. Thank you to the Committee members who put the sale together, including Ginger Lawson, Betty Bence, Marlene Seaborn, Rennie Edwards, Martha Harris, Carol Miley, and Kathy Rushmore. And thanks, also, to the shoppers!
Christmas 2020 at Trinity
Cold and rainy weather sent us inside for most of the Christmas season services. But we practiced safe, social distancing (above) and delighted in having a young bell-ringer (left) on Christmas Eve.
Two New Members Elected to Trinity Vestry
At its Annual Meeting on Sunday, December 27, Trinity approved a budget for 2021 and elected two new Vestry members. Karen Brown and Rick Watson will join the Vestry in January for a term of three years.
Ralph and Susie Wagoner (below) recently celebrated their 59th anniversary as they reviewed photographs from their wedding album. They were married on December 21, 1961 at the Jamestown, Pennsylvania, Presbyterian Church.

The couple met in Pennsylvania while Susie was the only female lifeguard at Pymatuning State Park swimming beach. On weekday mornings, she was in charge of the beach by herself and it was the State Cop's (Ralph) job to pull up in the patrol boat and make sure no one was giving her a rough time. They always hoped for rain, with no swimmers and no boaters, so they could sit under a tree and get to know each other better.
If you have noticed a new face at recent worship services, it is Kerry Petty, (above) the sister of Kirk Hadaway, who moved with her two dogs and cat to Apalachicola from East Lansing, Michigan in October 2020.

Among many other gifts and skills, she is a Pilates instructor, a Dressage judge, and an accomplished home baker. Welcome Kerry!
REMINDER: Worship Services for January 9 & 10 have been cancelled out of an abundance of caution, as Eric was recently exposed to someone who tested positive for COVID-19. The Church Office will also be closed for a couple of weeks. If you need assistance, please call 850-653-9550 or email info@trinityapalachicola.org.
