Two Trinity Volunteers Urgently Needed for Backpack Buddies of Franklin County!

Our first packing day is Tuesday, February 14.

Anyone can do this.

Please help, if you can!

Your Outreach Committee is working closely with Nastasha Creamer, director of Backpack Buddies of Franklin County, to recruit at least two volunteers to help pack weekend food for 263 children, most of whom receive free lunch at school every day. If you can help with this task, which takes about an hour weekly at Franklin County School in the early afternoon, please contact Natasha Creamer at (850) 670-2832.

St. George Island United Methodist Church is on board too. If you want to know more, you can talk to Martha Harris or Penny Marler who packed food along with Natasha this week.

Our New Rector Search Committee has completed the

Trinity Parish Profile and it is posted on our website for

potential candidates and other interested individuals.

You can read it here.

OUR GREATER COMMUNITY

Conscious Contact Offers Workshops

HEART CHAKRA WORKSHOP

Saturday, February 11

10 am – 3 pm

With Valentine’s Day right around the corner, this is the perfect time for a day focused on Anahata, the heart chakra. The heart is the center of our capacity for self-love, compassion, and metta; love for others. During this workshop we will gently move in ways that support opening this treasure trove. Our time together will include guided meditation, Yin Yoga; a soothing and restorative practice done on the floor with the support of pillows, bolsters, and blankets; breathing techniques to calm and center. Our day will end with The Sacred Sounds of Donia.  Through guidance and sounds she will take us on a journey to the heart center, unfurling the bud of the blossom that lives within you. The only requirement is that you can easily move to and from the floor.

Workshop is offered by Janice Olson, Founder, Conscious Contact LLC and Donia Smith, Owner, Bodysoundspirit, LMT and Reiki Master.
