Dear Ones,

I pray you are all well enough in these times. A few brief updates for you.

Summer Worship Schedule is coming! June 1- August 31 we will have English worship at 9am and Spanish worship at 11am. We will discontinue our Children's Chapel & Nursery during the summer and our Wednesday service will also be on hiatus.
Re-Humanization Project will meet again this Sunday after the 10am service in Atwood Hall to talk about the action steps we are planning toward. All are welcome!
The Episcopal Church is in the news HERE for disengaging our Episcopal Migration Ministries from the Federal Government.
Ten of our Trinity members will become official Episcopalians this weekend at the Diocesan Confirmation service on Saturday morning at 10am here at the Cathedral. Pretty exciting to have people choose this faith tradition and make a formal acknowledgment of that! Please keep them in your prayers.
We urge you to set up your pledge payments on auto pay for the summer if you haven't already. Summer is a lean time for us financially and we need your help to pay our bills! We have expenses of around $80,000 per month for staff, utilities, building maintenance, vendors, and more. Your help is appreciated!

Rezo para que todos estéis bien en estos momentos. Unas breves actualizaciones para ustedes.

¡El horario de adoración de verano se acerca! Junio 1- Agosto 31 tendremos adoración en Inglés a las 9am y adoración en Español a las 11am. Vamos a descontinuar nuestra Capilla de Niños y Guardería durante el verano y nuestro servicio de los miércoles también estará en pausa.
Proyecto de Re-Humanización se reunirá de nuevo este domingo después del servicio de 10am en Atwood Hall para hablar de los pasos de acción que estamos planeando. Todos son bienvenidos.
La Iglesia Episcopal está en las noticias AQUÍ por la desvinculación de nuestros Ministerios Episcopales de Migración del Gobierno Federal.
Diez de nuestros miembros de la Trinidad se convertirán oficialmente en episcopales este fin de semana en el servicio de Confirmación Diocesana el sábado por la mañana a las 10 am aquí en la Catedral. Our long-serving Sound Technician and former Campus Coordinator (not to mention long-time parishioner!) Cliff Golden is moving away and departing Trinity’s employ at the end of May. In celebration of his many years of service, we encourage you to bring cards of thanks and appreciation for him on his last Sunday with us, May 25.

Help Trinity Fight Hunger

Trinity volunteers assist with Sunday morning breakfasts at Grace Lutheran 4x per year, and we host downtown residents for breakfasts on Thanksgiving and Christmas here at home. More volunteers to help are always welcome. There is also a financial need that goes with this work so we can feed as many people as possible. We would welcome contributions for Trinity’s HUNGER OUTREACH FUND. Simply indicate on your check or envelope that the donation is for this purpose or click HERE and enter "Hunger" in the memo line. Thank you!

We are looking for volunteers who speak a language other than English or Spanish to help celebrate Pentecost on June 8. You will read a portion of a lesson together in various languages. You will receive the reading ahead of time to practice, and a short rehearsal will be held the day of. Whether you speak French or Mandarin, Navajo or Cherokee, Ancient Greek or Sanskrit, Elfish or Klingon, your gift is needed! Sign-up (by June 1!) at the front desk.

Acrylic and Oil paintings by Darlene Ritter and Carol Quijada

Darlene Ritter’s acrylic paintings are non-objective and spontaneously expressive. For this show, Ritter focuses on line direction to create emotions. “Geometry was my favorite subject in school, and it often influences my art.” Ritter will have scarves for sale at the opening based on her paintings. She shows at several galleries in the valley, and her work is on display at the Wham Art Gallery in Surprise, AZ.

Carol Quijada’s oil paintings reveal a fascination with light, shadow, and reflections. This work features things that are thrown away. “After scavenging through metal scraps for use in a still life painting, I noticed how architectural they appeared once they were set up; they looked like a city of discarded items.” Quijada earned a BFA in oil painting from Occidental College. and studied in the Philippines, Ecuador, and Peru.

Las pinturas acrílicas de Darlene Ritter son no objetivas y espontáneamente expresivas. Prayers of the People

Oración de los Fieles

We pray for peace,

for goodwill among nations, and for the well-being of all people. We pray for our President and for the Congress, the Cabinet, and the Supreme Court. We pray for justice and peace, particularly in Gaza and in Ukraine.

We ask your prayers for the poor,

the sick, the hungry, the oppressed, and those in prison, particularly those who are being removed from this country without due process.

We commend to your mercy all who have died, that your will for them may be fulfilled; and we pray that we may share with all your saints in your eternal kingdom.

We pray for: Jonathan, Jeff, Surya, Karl, Daniel, Trevor, Gloria, Taylor, Greg, John, Kylie, The Narvaez-Bauste Family, and Anita.

We give thanks for those celebrating birthdays and anniversaries this week.

Oremos para la paz,

por la buena voluntad de naciones, y para el bienestar de todos pueblos. Rezamos por nuestro Presidente y por el Congreso, el Gabinete y el Tribunal Supremo. Rezamos por la justicia y la paz, especialmente en Gaza y Ucrania.
