July Ministry Spotlight

July's ministry spotlight is Bethany. Did you know that what started as a small Christian welfare program for orphaned children in 1895, has evolved into a unique retirement community? Bethany has provided over 120 years of care.

Bethany Home is affiliated with the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. Its corporate members include 27 area Lutheran Churches, two Episcopal Churches, one Catholic Church, one Presbyterian Church, and one United Methodist Church.

Please look over the display in the Koinonia Room or click here to learn more about this local facility and how to share your time and donate funds.

Office Closed Monday

The office and building will be closed Monday in observance of the Fourth of July. Have a festive and safe holiday!

Let's Fill the Food Cart at the Fourth of July Parade

A great tradition returns this Independence Day! Cub Scout Pack 3634 will once again collect financial contributions and non-perishable food items in partnership with Trinity during Waupaca's Fourth of July parade. If you plan to attend the parade, bring a monetary donation or some canned foods to share. All donations will go to the Waupaca Area Food Pantry. From 2013 to 2021, generous folks along the downtown Waupaca parade route have contributed a nine-year total of 3,708 pounds of food and $3,834.69!

Chapel on the Lakes

This week's Chapel on the Lakes is hosted by leadership from the Area United Methodist Church of Waupaca. Join us for this unique weekly worship at 6 p.m. Wednesdays throughout the summer months aboard the Chief Waupaca. All are welcome!

Thank You for Donating

Trinity showed its support for Operation School Supplies! The bin was filled with a variety of requested school supplies that will be given to Waupaca area students. Thank you for blessing our future generations!

Campfire Church: A Smoking Hot Event

A little wind couldn't stop our first Campfire Church from being a roaring success! We roasted hot dogs and marshmallows, sang camp songs (and learned the motions), and heard about the Israelites crossing the Red Sea. Join us on July 24th at 6pm for our next Campfire Church.

Camp, Christ and Camaraderie

Nine of our 8th grade students spent last week at Imago Dei Village, playing games, spending time together, and learning about God's boundless love for them and all of creation. Both cabins with Trinity students won the famed Golden Plunger award for keeping their cabins clean!
