TLF 4th Annual Thanksgiving Baskets (November 12) for Jesus Project Ministries in the Holly Grove Neighborhood. The 50 large baskets we'll assemble will contain everything a family needs to prepare a splendid Thanksgiving dinner. TLF would love for church members to bring the items indicated below, based on the first letter of their last name: (A-F) Pack of dinner rolls, (G-L) 1 bag of oranges, (M-R) 4 sweet potatoes, (S-Z) 2 boxes of cookies or a store-bought pie. Interfaith Thanksgiving Service (November 16) - Multiple faith communities gather annually for this Thanksgiving service, hosted this year by St. Charles Avenue Presbyterian Church (1545 State Street) at 6:00pm with reception to follow. Homily by Rabbi Daniel Sherman of Temple Sinai.
