Our Shared Story, Stewardship 2025 - With our lives and prayers, our presence and gifts, we are writing the next chapters in the story of Trinity Church; There is one grand story, comprised of many tiny stories, bound together by our faith in God and this community. What happens if we all lean in?

If you have not yet made a pledge for 2025, we encourage you to do so by December 1. Your pledge allows us to responsibly plan for our 2025 budget, seize opportunities for growth and provide ongoing support for the ever changing needs of our community. If you have already made a stewardship commitment for 2025, thank you!

Youth Pilgrimage to Taizé, France - This year Trinity Church High School Youth will travel to Taizé, a faith community in Burgundy, France, where they join the monastery’s rhythms of daily prayer, service, and rest. It’s a unique opportunity for high schoolers to connect with themselves, one another, and God. Enrolled Trinity Church Youth in grades 9-12 are eligible to join us for the trip, June 6 - June 15, 2025. Registration opens November 10. The estimated cost is $2500. Scholarships are available; our goal is for all interested youth to join us, regardless of cost. All pilgrims will be required to fundraise to off-set costs. For questions, contact Ashley Bond at abond@trinitynola.com.

Rector's Forum -  You’re invited to the Rector's Forum, Sundays at 9:15am, held in our new Menge Family Board Room at Jack's House! This weekly gathering is a wonderful opportunity to explore the Sunday Episcopal Lectionary readings in greater depth. Each session, we’ll dive into the themes, context, and insights of the Scripture, with plenty of time for discussion, questions, and reflection. Whether you’re curious about the readings, looking to deepen your understanding, or simply want to connect with fellow parishioners, all are welcome!

Trinity Episcopal School Open House (November 13) - Do you know someone who would be interested in learning more about Trinity School? The final Admission Open House is Wednesday, November 13, in the small Chapel at 9:00 a.m. Please email admission@trinitynola.com for more information or if there is someone you would like the School to reach out to. Your insights and referrals are not just helpful; they are essential!

Family Bread Delivery (Sunday, November 24) - Our high schoolers will spend 24 hours baking bread to be distributed throughout the city to those who are hungry. A portion of this homemade bread is reserved for the elders of our faith community and those who might appreciate a little extra love this Thanksgiving season. Families are asked to sign up and deliver bread to these beloved friends. Bread will be ready for pick up Sunday morning, November 24. To sign up for bread delivery, email abond@trinitynola.com.

Deliver a Poinsettia (late November) - An early opportunity to deliver Christmas Joy! If you would like to deliver a poinsettia to someone in our congregation who is lonely, homebound, or simply one of our cherished older members, please contact Maria Elliott at melliott@trinitynola.com to volunteer. We have about 100 plants to delive the week after Thanksgiving.

SAVE THE DATE for Alvin Edinburgh's 90th Birthday Party! (December 8) - You're invited! Following the 10:30am service on Sunday, December 8, celebrate the 90th birthday of Alvin Edinburgh, TEEP's longtime director.

Save the Date for Advent Offerings:

Advent Home Eucharists (December 3, 11, and 19) - On three Wednesdays in the season of Advent, Trinity will offer in-home Eucharists hosted by Trinity parishioners. It is a wonderful opportunity to gather and worship with a small group of church family - a chance to connect with familiar faces and meet someone new. Attendees are asked to bring an hors d'oeuvres to share. Hosts announced soon.

Enneagram Practice in Advent (December 6, 13 and 20) - On Fridays in Advent at 1:00pm, let us move with intention toward the incarnation of Jesus. We will practice shifting our attention from the darkness experienced in each Enneagram type to what is revealed in the inner light of divine essence. This will include space for quiet contemplation. Contact Maria Elliott at melliott@trinitynola.com to save a space.
