Dear Students, Families, Faculty and Staff,

Trinity High School now has our ninth confirmed case of COVID-19 for the 2020-2021 school year (as a reminder, the first two student siblings did not have any exposure to Trinity).  There are currently three (3) in person-community members with COVID-19.

The student did not return to school after her exposure. Since the student and her family followed proper protocol by quarantining as soon as they knew of a positive exposure, and the student did not attend in person after her exposure, there is no chance of transmission from this case at Trinity. Any community members in the same classes, lunch circle, or athletic team with the positive student have been contacted directly by Trinity High School as a courtesy.  Please pray for the quick recovery of our Trinity student and her family.

As cases rise in our region, we continue to urge all community members to responsibly interact with others while outside of Trinity, committing to the same measures that have kept us safe and open as a school: practice social distancing, wear masks, and avoid gatherings.

Here are reminders of our quarantine directives:
  • If anyone in the Trinity community becomes positive or is presumed positive, or has any exposure to someone who is positive or is presumed positive, it is imperative they do not come to school and that their parent/guardian notifies Trinity immediately to discuss the quarantine period (14 days).

  • Any community members who are experiencing any COVID-related symptoms (see your Appian symptom tracker questionnaire) but have not had any known exposure must stay home until they are symptom-free for 24 hours.

  • Anyone experiencing COVID-related symptoms that persist longer than 24 hours, or who have symptoms and a possible exposure, should not return to Trinity, should seek medical attention, and should continue to communicate their status to Trinity High School.

Stay well,

Mrs. Carey
