Dear Students, Families, Faculty and Staff,

Trinity High School has been notified of a positive COVID-19 case in our community.

According to the guidelines published by the CDC and after consultation with the Cook County Health Department, due to our adherence of social distancing and masks, it has been determined that the greater Trinity community at large has had a low-risk exposure and does not need to quarantine.  Any community members in the same classes, lunch circle, or athletic team with the positive student have been contacted directly by Trinity High School.  Please pray for the quick recovery of our Trinity student and her family.
As cases rise in our region, we continue to urge all community members to responsibly interact with others while outside of Trinity, committing to the same measures that have kept us safe and open as a school: practice social distancing, wear masks, and avoid gatherings.

Here are reminders of our quarantine directives:
  • If anyone in the Trinity community becomes positive or is presumed positive, or has any exposure to someone who is positive or is presumed positive, it is imperative they do not come to school and that their parent/guardian notifies Trinity immediately to discuss the quarantine period (14 days).

  • Any community members who are experiencing any COVID-related symptoms (see your Appian symptom tracker questionnaire) but have not had any known exposure must stay home until they are symptom-free for 24 hours.

  • Anyone experiencing COVID-related symptoms that persist longer than 24 hours, or who have symptoms and a possible exposure, should not return to Trinity, should seek medical attention, and should continue to communicate their status to Trinity High School.

COVID-related inquiries can be sent to [email protected] or by calling our main line at 708-771-8383.

Stay well,
Mrs. Rachel Meiner
