A Note from Rachael
It's the most wonderful time of the year! Amidst the busyness of Christmas, I pray we can all take some time to pause and remember why we are decorating, choir singing, and gift giving and Who we are celebrating -- what makes this season so wonder-ful (full of wonder). Pick up one of our Advent Devotionals if you haven't yet and start the tradition of preparing room in your heart for Christ this Christmas season. We look forward to hearing our Kids Choir on Dec. 8 and celebrating with a fun night for the kids (and a night out for parents) on Dec. 13! Read on for more details!
Advent Devotionals
Come together as a family to learn about the prophesies that foretold Christ's birth and celebrate the miracle of His long-awaited coming through Advent: The Weary World Rejoices (a daily study with weekly family projects) or Prepare Him Room (a weekly family devotional with optional projects). Both are available for purchase ($10 each) at the Children's Ministries table on the Plaza. Advent began December 1.
Sunday School
This month only  kids will be learning the same lessons during both 1 st and 2nd service. These lessons will focus on the themes of Advent and correspond with the Advent devotionals in Prepare Him Room.
   
Family Follow Up
Sword Bible Memory 
Hide God's Word in your heart! Help your kids memorize their Sword Bible Memory each month.   
Kids Christmas Choir Rehearsals and Presentation
Kids Christmas Choir rehearsals continue during 2nd service Sunday School from 10:35 - 10:50 a.m. in Room 116. We will also have two more full-run through rehearsals: 

Wednesday, December 4, 6:30 - 8:30 p.m.
Saturday, December 7, 4:00 - 6:00 p.m. The Preschoolers will join us to rehearse from 4:00 - 4:30 p.m.

Put those dates on your calendar as well as our presentation during both worship services on Sunday, December 8!
Kids Christmas Celebration/Parents Night Out
We hope your kids (2 yrs - 6th grade) will join us Friday, December 13, 5:30-8:30 p.m., as we celebrate the birth of Christ and have lots of fun together! Children will enjoy pizza, crafts, games, and a movie. Parents, enjoy a night out! Register online here by Friday, December 6. Questions? Email Margaret at [email protected].
December Missions
Don't forget to pray for the children around the world who will be receiving Operation Christmas Child boxes this year!
Special Sunday School Experience
We will have a special Sunday School experience during both services for kids Kindergarten through 6 th  grade on Dec. 29. Kids can wear comfy/cozy clothes - bring a blanket if they want! We'll gather together for crafts, a movie, snacks, and Sword Bible Memory Treasure Boxes!
BSK (Bible Study Kids)
BSK is a Bible Study where kids learn from the same book of the Bible their parents are studying in Brother-to-Brother (B2B) and Sister-to-Sister (S2S). BSK includes singing songs of worship, memorizing scripture, and having fun while doing it!  BSK meets on Thursdays from 9:00-11:00 a.m. (nursery-preschool; homeschool) and 6:30-8:30 p.m. (preschool-4th grade).

This Fall, we have been learning about the Fruit of the Spirit from the book of Galatians.  Our last meeting this semester is Dec. 5. We look forward to seeing you again in mid-January!
