Thank You!

The program "Getting Our Affairs in Order," coordinated by Naomi, was a great success. Thank you Naomi for coordinating it, and to all the panel participants! A recording will soon be available online for those who were unable to attend.

Conrad and Lydia attended the 10am service at St. Michael's in Litchfield to hear the Rev. Ellen Tillotson preach! Mother Ellen sends her best to all at Trinity.

Holy Cross Monastery

Looking for a quiet restful place for a weekend, where you can unplug, enjoy the silence, and hear God a little better? Consider Holy Cross Monastery, a guesthouse run by an Anglican Benedictine community of brothers in West Park, New York, just a 90-minute drive from Torrington. Conrad and Lydia will be there January 17 through 19, and they would love to see other folks from Trinity, too.

The guesthouse is located on the Hudson River. It has single rooms and lots of places to quietly read, pray, craft, write, puzzle, and more. They serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner, too - the food is amazing! You can join the brothers for daily mass and prayer (with chanting four times a day) - or not. You can also explore the area on foot or by car.

See Conrad or Lydia if you have questions.

Two weddings were recently held in our church, and the flowers made our beautiful church even more beautiful!

Trinity Church is a great place for a wedding!

If you have an announcement or event that you would like publicized, or if you are a parishioner involved in an event that you would like to share with the parish, please send it to The Portal at announcements@trinity-torrington.org, and we can then direct your announcement to the best method of communication.
