Technical Issues for Trinity
|
|
In the last week, Trinity has experienced some technical issues with our livestream process and access to our web site.
For Sunday worship livestream go to this YouTube link and you should be able to see the service being streamed live. Our previous livestream services are showing up here, and you should be able to enjoy the services being livestreamed weekly. Trinity's website host server is experiencing problems which have caused interrupted viewing during our livestream. This also results in a two-part posting of the service on our Trinity YouTube channel.
Trinity's website access is currently compromised by an apparent technical issue with our hosting site's server, which does not allow us access to be able to edit and update our website. We will keep you informed as we progress toward a resolution to this prickly problem.

Saturday May 21st is the construction. Day!
Be on the lookout for the mini food pantry when you come to church on Sunday.
Please bring a nonperishable food item to leave in the basket in the Narthex or Parish Hall.
Saturday May 14th was groundbreaking day!
William Gwinn has been hard at work on this Eagle Scout project. William and Raymond Vanvoorhis, architect, have installed the supports for the new SDHC (Southern Dutchess Homeless Coalition) mini food pantry.
Located next to our St. Pauly shed, it will provide limited food for anyone who has emergency needs as a supplement to the food received at local food pantries.
Local area Fishkill churches will sign up to be in charge of maintaining it, sharing responsibility on a monthly basis to make sure it is well stocked. Community members can also donate nonperishable food items. We are very excited to be able to support this project located on our property.

In order to continue our livestream of worship services we need two or three volunteers to set up and livestream each Sunday until Alex Thomas returns on July 17th. We can arrange training to help you become familiar with the process. We have well documented written procedures to follow also.
Training will be provided at times and days of your choosing. Call the office to set up your FREE training sessions.

More than $1 million in United Thank Offering grants—designated for 22 projects related to creation care within The Episcopal Church and Anglican Communion—was approved by the church's Executive Council during its April meeting.
The funds came from the United Thank Offering's 2021 Ingathering, where monies collected in UTO "blue boxes" at Episcopal churches throughout the year are gathered as thank offerings.
This year's focus for grant applications was "Care of Creation: Turning love into action by caring for God's creation to protect the most vulnerable—who will bear the largest burden of pollution and climate change—through justice, advocacy, environmental reparations, or the development of fundamental materials."
The UTO Board received about $1.8 million in requests from 42 applications. It was able to fund eight projects within The Episcopal Church and four projects from dioceses that receive block grants from General Convention; eight projects within the Anglican Communion; and two historical grants.
The UTO Mission is stated as: The United Thank Offering (UTO) is a ministry of The Episcopal Church for the mission of the whole church. Through UTO, individuals are invited to embrace and deepen a personal daily spiritual discipline of gratitude. UTO encourages people to notice the good things that happen each day, give thanks to God for those blessings and make an offering for each blessing using a UTO Blue Box. UTO is entrusted to receive the offerings, and to distribute the 100% of what is collected to support innovative mission and ministry throughout The Episcopal Church and Provinces of the Anglican Communion.

Find out what EC (Episcopal Charities) is doing to support New Yorkers in need through nearly 100 parish-based programs around the diocese. Please support the work by donating during May or June. See the EC Sunday video and make a donation.
The Mission of Episcopal Charities is to provide critical funding, operational support, and volunteers to strengthen nearly 100 local programs working to transform the lives of more than 1 million people in need each year.
- Working in partnership with these programs, we help connect those in need with the generosity of caring donors and the energy of dedicated volunteers.
-
We strengthen communities through skills-building programs that offer a path to success for the unemployed, recent immigrants, and the formerly incarcerated re-entering society;
-
We protect the most vulnerable through health and wellness programs that improve quality of life for senior citizens, the homebound, children with special needs, and recovering substance abusers;
In the true spirit of outreach, every program we support is free of religious content, welcoming one and all. We serve communities throughout the ten-county Episcopal Diocese of New York: Manhattan, Staten Island, the Bronx, Westchester, Rockland, Putnam, Dutchess, Sullivan, Orange and Ulster. See a map of all our programs here.
