This coming Sunday, we are thrilled to announce the kickoff of preparations for the 6th Annual Cookie Walk, a cherished Trinity tradition that brings our parish together in the spirit of joy and generosity, and invites all of Santa Barbara to join in that spirit, as well! As we prepare for this annual all-parish fundraiser, which takes place Sunday, December 13, we invite each of you to participate by signing up to bake delicious cookies or volunteering to help on the day of the event.
Pair your Cookie Walk sugar rush with our fun and festive raffle! Over 20 baskets will be offered, and we need your help securing items to make this raffle our most enticing ever. We are seeking gift cards of all types, restaurant and theater experiences, wine and more. You can put together a basket yourself, or we will assemble baskets with the raffle items parishioners donate.
Visit the Cookie Walk table on the Labyrinth during Coffee Hour to find out how you can get involved! Pastoral Care Update: Loren Wiebe
I want to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude for the overwhelming support, compassion, and calm shown by the Trinity community during the medical emergency that took place during the 10am service on September 27. Loren Wiebe, who fell ill during the service, is now at home. We invite everyone to continue to keep Loren, Leneta, and the whole Wiebe family in your thoughts and prayers as Loren continues his recovery. I'll say again what I said at announcement time: the kind of care you exhibited is church: The Body — the embodiment — of Christ.
Gratefully,
Elizabeth+
