Solemnity of the Most Holy Trinity

Brothers and sisters:

Therefore, since we have been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have gained access by faith to this grace in which we stand, and we boast in hope of the glory of God.  Not only that, but we even boast of our afflictions, knowing that affliction produces endurance, and endurance, proven character, and proven character, hope, and hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit that has been given to us."

From the Pastor

Dear Parishioners and Friends,

On the Sunday after Pentecost, we celebrate the Solemnity of the Most Holy Trinity. The mystery of the Holy Trinity is central to our Christian faith because we learn about who the one true God is, and how God the Father reveals himself to humankind through Jesus his Son and the action of the Holy Spirit.

The Holy Trinity helps us to be open to the action of God's grace within us, and to fall more in love with the God who created and loved us first while showing care and concern for our neighbor.

Finally, congratulations to our recent college and high school graduates! This coming Friday we look forward to our own Saint Kateri fifth graders preparing to move on to sixth grade and new adventures.

May God bless you!

NATIONAL EUCHARISTIC REVIVAL STARTS June 16th 2022

I am the living bread that came down from heaven; whoever eats this bread will live forever; and the bread that I will give is my flesh for the life of the world.  ~John 6:51

The Bishops of the United States are calling for a three-year grassroots revival of devotion and belief in the Real Presence of Jesus in the Eucharist. They believe that God wants to see a movement of Catholics across the United States, healed, converted, formed, and unified by an encounter with Jesus in the Eucharist—and sent out in mission “for the life of the world.”

These three years will culminate in the first National Eucharistic Congress in the United States in almost fifty years. Almost a hundred thousand Catholics will join together in Indianapolis for a once-in-a-lifetime pilgrimage toward the “source and summit” of our Catholic faith.

The first year is called the DIOCESAN YEAR with a focus on Eucharistic Processions, Adoration and Prayer around the country. Please share your ideas in making this revival effective. Send me your thoughts.

Let’s meet in June to review and discuss your ideas.

Contact Deacon Lon with your ideas.
