June 8th Picnic!

Our annual church picnic will be June 8, immediately after the 10am worship service. This is a great tradition at Trinity to kick off the summer and connect! Families with last name beginning with D-G (dessert goodies), please bring a dessert to share. Everyone else, please bring a side dish if you can.

Trinity will provide chicken and pork barbeque and buns (sauce on the side) and CAKE to celebrate all of our graduates! Please bring your own chairs and blankets for lawn seating. A few chairs and tables will be set up for our blessed seniors.

Volunteers, please sign up below to help with setup or cleanup.

Ways to Serve

Books for Brooks

Brooks Bare reads a lot, and one way that we, as a community, can support him during his time of incarceration is by providing him with books. If you would like to participate in this effort, the Church Office will be collecting book suggestions as well as Amazon Gift Cards (along with the name of the giver) and facilitate the delivery through a required, 3rd party vendor process with notification to the Bare family. If you have questions, please contact Ken at office@trinityarlington.org.

Also, we finally have a mailing address for Brooks that works! You can send mail to:

Brooks Bare P# 203876

Arlington VA c/o Securus DMC

PO Box 21406

Tampa FL 33622

Once the mail is received at the Securus Digital Mail Center it is scanned and Brooks sees a picture of it on his tablet. They can easily scan letters on 8 x 11 paper. They also scan cards, pictures and drawings. He enjoys seeing pictures of friends and family. Remember that all the mail is read before given to Brooks.

Thank you for helping keep his spirits up by sending him cards and letters.

Meal Train

New dates have been added for the Paulraj Meal Train. Chris Paulraj's recovery from surgery has been more challenging than originally anticipated, and the family could really use our support for an additional week, so it now runs through June 5th. Let's help support the Paulraj family with our prayers and by providing meals while Chris recovers from cochlear implant surgery. Please visit the meal train site to sign up and deliver!

Lemonade on the Lawn Starts June 15th

It's almost time for Lemonade on the Lawn (in the Narthex) to resume! Please choose a date for your small group or Ministry to host and sign up at:

Trinity is Hiring

With the impending retirement of Carol Feather Martin on December 31, 2025, Trinity is currently advertising for a Director of Music to begin January 1, 2026. See the ad (Director of Music PD_April 17_2025.pdf) and help us spread the word. Questions should be directed to Pam Michell, Chair of the Search Committee at pamelalmichell@gmail or 703-963-3067.

Serving with S.O.M.E.

Trinity has been preparing breakfast for over 30+ years on the 3rd Monday of the month for SOME (So Others May Eat) in DC. They have recently completed a renovation of the kitchen, dining room, and building at 71 O Street NW. TPC resumed this local mission support back on December 16. Breakfast preparation consists of 3-4 people arriving at 6:00 a.m. (finishing by 7:30 a.m.) and cooking eggs, sausages, grits, and other duties as needed. It's a great way to start the morning and support people in need. Visit the Sign Up Genius link to volunteer - for more information contact Todd Parker (703-237-7699).
