News and Updates

Acolyte Training November 19

Please consider becoming an acolyte to the priest

on Holy Eucharist Sundays.

It a simple responsibility, and we need additional people to relieve Carol, who is our only licensed acolyte since the Laffertys left. Rev. Craig will be doing a training on November 19 following Sunday service.

It's 2024 Pledge Time!

To ensure Trinity can maintain our regular schedule of Holy Eucharist with supply clergy, please prayerfully consider pledging to Trinity for 2024.

We are also asking you to pledge your time and skills, by volunteering to help Trinity keep its doors open.

Please see the Wardens' Letter

Pledging will be on-line this year.

Or, you can go to Trinity's Pledge page on our website, and fill out the pledge form there and submit electronically (same as link above).

If you want to fill out a paper pledge card, we will have them in the back of the church on Sundays. When completed, you can drop the card in the collection basket.

OR

you can click link below for pledge form to print out and bring to church or mail.

Vestry Candidates for 2024

You may recall from our Annual Meeting at the beginning of the year, that three members came off Vestry, ss our by-laws prescribe. However, we had only one candidate, leaving us with seven of the nine Vestry positions filled in 2023. We are grateful for those who have served this last year.

Once again, three members are coming off the Vestry after three years of service, Mary K., Laurie Jo, and Meg. David H. and Nancy M. have stepped forward to return to serve again, after their year off (although, Nancy remained the Vestry Clerk, with no vote this last year). When they take their seats on the Vestry, we will be down to six Vestry members. Our by-laws require a minimum of five Vestry members.

Please prayerfully consider serving on the Vestry. Trinity would really benefit from a more robust Vestry and some new perspective.

Diocese Convention Delegate Report

It was another inspirational and informative Diocese Convention for 2023. Your delegates were, Mary K., Steve C. and myself. Held at Faith Church in Cameron Park, it was nice to be able to drive to daily to sessions. What impressed most, besides the seeing the democratic process at work in our church, was seeing how the Diocese lives out the mission of the Episcopal Church by taking tangible action in the areas of racial and social justice, addressing environmental issues, youth programs, and much, much more, and inviting each of our parishes into the process.
