Midweek Lent Worship - Beatitudes of Promise

Our midweek Wednesday Lenten services continue at 12 noon and 7pm as we take a look at the beatitudes and how they can help us grow in our lives of faith. Each Wednesday we will focus on a different beatitude and how it informs our relationship with God and each other. Join us on Wednesdays as we hear the promise of new life found in the beatitudes!

** There is a dinner at 5:30pm preceding the 7pm worship in Hanberry Hall. This weeks' meal is provided by Stephen Ministry. Dinner will be Chicken Nuggets and Macaroni and Cheese.

Easter Flowers

As we celebrate Christ’s Resurrection, we are going to place potted flowering plants in the sanctuary as another symbol of rebirth. If you would like to purchase a plant In Honor of or In Memoriam of a loved one, fill out a paper order form (located on the tables in the narthex) and place it in the offering plate, or fill out an online order form. The order deadline is Friday, March 27th. The plants are $20 each and you will be able to take them home after the 11 o’clock service on Easter Sunday.

Ways to Give

Given the issues with the USPS recently, we wanted to touch on ways to give to the church online. If you prefer to give to the church via check, please bring it on Sunday and place in the offering plate, or drop off in the church office during business hours.

  • Use Simply Giving, an automated giving program. Download enrollment form and return to the office.

  • Send money via Zelle. Add recipient Trinity Lutheran Church with the email ap@tlc-lilburn.org. Use the memo line to indicate what/why you are giving to the church.

Please contact Kristy Perkins at kristy.perkins@tlc-lilburn.org if you have any questions or concerns.

Love Offering For March - Atlanta Hunger Walk Run

For 41 years, thousands of people of various backgrounds and cultures have joined together to end hunger in our community — one step at a time. Walkers and runners participate in this 5K event that benefits six local hunger relief organizations that operate and support hundreds of food pantries, shelters, community kitchens, senior centers, and childcare centers across metro Atlanta and north Georgia.

The Hunger Walk Run -- an annual 5K walk and “fun run” began in 1984 -- is an event of the Atlanta Community Food Bank that unites our community to raise awareness and critical funds for local hunger relief. Proceeds from the event benefit the Atlanta Community Food Bank and other local nonprofit organizations. These benefiting partner organizations help recruit participants and receive a percentage of the funds raised to support their direct hunger relief programs.

In its over 40 years, Hunger Walk Run has raised over $12.5 million for hunger relief—enough to help provide over 50 million meals!
