Total: $1,442.20

Many thanks for your support of this effort and overall support of the Hunger Walk activities. We do this in hopes of having fun but more importantly to help with food insecurity in our area. Our efforts make a difference in the lives of many!

John will receive his pie in the face on Sunday, April 12th at 12:30 PM in Hanberry Hall.

Trinity Nominating Committee

Trinity's Constitution requires elections every December for our Leadership and Audit Teams. The Nominating Committee recommends people to serve in these roles. The Committee needs to be elected in the April meeting. The service term for the Committee is from May until December.

Would you be interested in helping to identify people to serve? Please let Jim Elsenbeck (678-640-0410) or the church office know.

Community Garden Planting April 18

Calling all those who like to play in the dirt! We would love for you to join the Community Garden Ministry! This spring our planting day will be on Saturday, April 18th at 9am. We will meet at the community garden at Good Shepherd Presbyterian Church to plant various plants including tomatoes, cucumbers, okra and squash. No prior experience is necessary. Just a willing heart and a pair of gloves.

In addition to the planting day, we also have a rotation of volunteers who tend the garden every two weeks (weeding, watering, picking produce, etc.). We need a couple of people to join us in this rotation of caring for the garden. Again, no experience is needed. You'll be partnered with a gardening buddy to journey with. Everything we grow is donated to the Lilburn Co-op. Last year through God's grace we were able to donate over 400 pounds of produce to the Lilburn Co-op!

Please feel free to reach out to Pastor Katie with any questions: pastorkatie@tlc-lilburn.org

Ways to Give

Given the issues with the USPS recently, we wanted to touch on ways to give to the church online. If you prefer to give to the church via check, please bring it on Sunday and place in the offering plate, or drop off in the church office during business hours.

  • Use Simply Giving, an automated giving program. Download enrollment form and return to the office.

  • Send money via Zelle. Add recipient Trinity Lutheran Church with the email ap@tlc-lilburn.org. Use the memo line to indicate what/why you are giving to the church.

Please contact Kristy Perkins at kristy.perkins@tlc-lilburn.org if you have any questions or concerns.

Opportunities For Discussion and Support

JUST Club for April

JUST Club (Jesus Uses Seniors Too) meeting is April 10th at 6:30pm in Hanberry Hall. It will be a potluck dinner. Bring your favorite dish to share.

Our speaker will talk about his experiences as a background extra during the filming of “The Chosen” movie. All are invited and welcome.

New Community Garden Picture

Trinity has been gifted a painting of the community garden ministry! Many thanks to Terry Huey who did this wonderful piece about the gardens. It is displayed in Hanberry Hall above the recycling bins as a way of reminding us of our call to care for all creation!

Trinity Women's Retreat

Trinity Women's Retreat was held at Christwalk in the Valley Retreat Center the weekend of March 13-15, 2026. 30 women attended. We had perfect weather and many enjoyed walking around the lake, visiting local establishments, and hiking some local trails during free time. Our theme was Boho, or the Bohemian era, and many of the ladies dressed for the occasion! (Think Joan Baez or Janis Joplin) We learned about several important women in the Bible and how they were empowered to break the mold of women during various biblical eras. Chelsea Lemcke-Miller and Becca Campbell prepared a program that was well received and led us through a guide on the structure of prayer using the ACTS prayer model. We created a beaded prayer bracelet and painted mandalas on rocks! The food was wonderful and cabin accommodations exceeded our expectations. Click on the picture to see more photos from the retreat.

Opportunities to Serve

Love Offering For April - Lilburn Co-Op

Our Primary Purpose is Food, Clothing and Shelter Assistance.

We help households in crisis to avoid food insecurity and to stay in their homes.

Lilburn Co-op has served needs of individuals and families in our community, as well as the members of all our supporting churches. We are an ongoing expression of God’s love in the community.

Every day, families and individuals in the Lilburn area go without adequate food, clothing, or shelter. The LCM helps meet those needs for families and individuals in Lilburn (30047), Stone Mountain (30087), and the Gwinnett County portion of

Tucker (30084) that is located below Lawrenceville Highway.

Lilburn Co-op is a local non-profit organization that is funded through your tax-deductible donations plus sales of donated goods at Lily’s Cloak, our thrift store.

For more information, please visit: https://lilburncoop.org/

In addition to monetary donations, the Co-op is doing a Spring Clothing Drive. Clean out your closet for a good cause! They are accepting men's, women's, and children's clothing of all sizes. Please place items in (or next to) the bins inside the front entrance of the church. You may also take your donations directly to the Lilburn Co-op at 5329 Five Forks Trickum Rd in Lilburn. Donation hours are Monday-Saturday 10am - 5pm.
