School Supply Drive!
Even though school just got out for the summer, we don’t stop helping children as they get ready for next school year. We will be working alongside the Lilburn CO-OP on Wednesday July 8th at our Family fun night. We will fill 50-70 backpacks with items the students will need to begin the school year. There is a list below and a bin in Hanberry Hall to place your items. Thank you in advance for your help in getting these students in our community ready and able to have a great school year!

Southeastern Synod Assembly Highlights
Pastor Katie, Pastor Scott, Jodi Lemcke (visitor), David Lemcke (Synod Treasurer), Laura McHan, David Patrick, Ranate Patrick (NovusWay Camping Ministry) and Shirley Connelly (Synod Council) all participated in the Southeastern Synod Assembly on May 28-30. As always, lots of business is discussed and handled in those few short days. But it also gives a person the ability to see how the Spirit is active in so many ways and in so many communities across the states of Georgia, Mississippi, Alabama and Tennessee. Click on the link to see a recap of the Assembly.

Colonial Worship - July 5
Our first single service at 10am in July will be a colonial style worship reflecting the worship service used in colonial times when our country was started. Even if you can only help for one day, your time and energy will make a meaningful difference.
Join us as we guide kids through a week of discovery and growing in faith—all set in a fun, winter-themed adventure!
If you're interested in volunteering or would like more information, please sign up or contact the church office. We’d love to have you on the team!

Craft Supplies Needed for VBS 2026 - Snowball Mountain Challenge!
As we prepare for our upcoming Snowball Mountain Challenge Vacation Bible School (July 13–17), we’re gathering supplies to make this week of faith and fun truly unforgettable—and you can help!
We’ve created an Amazon Wish List filled with supplies and materials needed for VBS crafts. These hands-on projects help bring each day’s lesson to life, and your support makes it all possible.
If you’d like to contribute, simply visit our Wish List, choose an item (or two!), and have it shipped directly to the church. It’s a quick and easy way to be part of this meaningful ministry, even if you’re not able to volunteer in person.
We have a new ask this week: We are collecting toilet paper rolls for one of the activities! Please start saving your empty rolls and bring them to the church. Thank you!
Thank you for helping us create a fun, faith-filled experience for all the kids who will attend!

Use Simply Giving, an automated giving program. Download enrollment form and return to the office.

Send money via Zelle. Add recipient Trinity Lutheran Church with the email ap@tlc-lilburn.org. Use the memo line to indicate what/why you are giving to the church.
Please contact Kristy Perkins at kristy.perkins@tlc-lilburn.org if you have any questions or concerns.

Exciting News from The Green Team
We reached our goal of collecting 1000 pounds of plastic and have received a bench! Thank you to everyone who helped us achieve this goal, and for keeping 1000 pounds of plastic out of landfills.
We will no longer be collecting plastic towards a goal. However, we can continue to collect plastic as a convenience for you if we have your help. We need people who are willing to take the plastic from the bin at church to a drop off location such as Publix, Target, or Walmart and put the plastic in the bins there. If you are willing to help, please use this Sign Up Genius: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/30E0F4DA9AC2BA2FB6-63804931-plastic#/ If you have questions about what is involved, please contact Becky White at 404-789-5468 (talk or text).
Alternatively, we encourage you to take the plastic with you when you shop and drop it off. And, as always, the best option of all is to refuse plastic bags and packaging whenever and wherever you can!

Love Offering For June - Southeastern Synod Disaster Relief
In the Southeastern Synod, both preparing for and responding to disasters here in our synod and around the world is a significant part of our shared ministry. This work is directed by the Disaster Ministry Committee. Assistant to the Bishop Davin Henrick serves as staff support to the committee and provides for coordination of volunteer and programmatic activities.
We partner with both Lutheran Disaster Response (LDR) and Inspiritus and the congregations across the synod to leverage our reach and to maximize the impact we can make in both disaster preparedness and response.
Our Synod uses more disaster relief than any other Synod in the United States. By donating directly to the Synod, they are able to apply for more grants and relief from the ELCA, making your gifts go further and do more good in our community.
For more information, please visit https://www.elca-ses.org/disasterministry
