Senior Warden

At our last Vestry meeting March 7, the 2023 Vestry selected Steve Russell and Meg Verardi as Co-Senior Wardens.They can both be contacted through srwarden@trinitysuttercreek.org.

Thanks go to David Hoos for his dedicated service to Trinity in 2022 and into until March of this year when the new wardens were selected.

Junior Warden

The Junior Warden for 2023 is Julie Mathis. You can contact her for any building and grounds issues at julie5352@gmail.com.

Thanks goes to Steve Russell for handling the building, grounds, and janitorial responsibilities in 2022. He and David Hoos mitigated 4 basement flooding events through March of this year!!

Church Work Day

Saturday, April 1 (no foolin'!)

We will be holding our annual work day do some tidying and grooming of the grounds, plus prepare the church for Holy Week. We will also be re-hang our stations of the cross, that got moved around when Zoom equipment was installed.


Time will be announced along with tools we will ask you to bring.

Drumming Circle

Sunday afternoon the 12th, the Drumming Circle reconvened for their second gathering. It was a fun and successful event with thirteen attendees, including four from Trinity.

The plan is the hold the drumming circle the second Sunday of each month, however, in April the second Sunday is Easter, and in May, Mother's Day. So, at this time we are considering holding the Drumming Circle on May 21 in Detert Park, in conjunction with the Homeless Fair.

2023 Homeless Resource Fair

Amador County’s second Annual Homeless Resource Fair is Sunday, May 21 - Monday, May 22 at Detert Park in Jackson.

Dozens of organizations will gather together in a horse shoe of services, providing a central area within for group activities, community fellowship and the distribution of clothing and relevant gear. Six meals will be provided, donated by local businesses who are committed to meeting the evolving needs of our rural community.

This event serves to bring local service agencies, community and faith-based organizations together in one place connecting them with local folks who need them most.

During the duration of this event, the park is approved of by the City of Jackson as a Safe-Sleep place for individuals in tents or cars. 

The event will be held from 8AM on Sunday 6PM Monday.

Please note, participants must check in at the event 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. to participate.
