MAY 2019
In the coming weeks and months, Trinity Lutheran will be undergoing some interior cosmetic changes.

Plans are in the works to upgrade Trinity Hall as well as begin work on a vestibule for the main entrance of the school.

Both projects are expected to begin this summer.

The last upgrade to Trinity Hall came about 20 years ago, when the tile was pulled up from the floor and replaced by an epoxy coating.

The vestibule project, which was approved by Trinity’s Board of Directors, is another step toward making our campus more safe and secure.

The project will include adding a doorway by the church office as well as the school office. The project has been funded through gifts received from last summer’s security forums – Praise the Lord!

We ask that everyone be patient and flexible while work is being done on both of these projects.

As we move forward with these projects, please remember to keep all those involved in your prayers.

Stay tuned for more details, regarding these two projects and how you can be involved.
Trinity’s Board of Directors would like to invite you to a congregational forum on Saturday, May 18, beginning at 9 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall.
Spending plan and Blue Print for Ministry – a continuation from the April 14 Big Rock forum - discussions will be the main focus of the forum as we head toward the Annual Voters Meeting on June 1.
We hope that you can make plans to attend the forum as we continue to pray, study, and think critically in regards to future planning decisions and setting a clear direction in moving our ministry forward.
Plant Sale No. 11 at Trinity is in the books!
It was another smashing success.
As you know, we broke the record for total sales, coming in at more than $73,000 in plants sold! How fantastic!
The annual plant sale only works because of the hard work of many people.
First, many thanks to our students and families for making the sales to customers!
Our students get to come and help with the unloading of all the plants on the Wednesday before sales begin. Hopefully, many of you got to watch the  time lapse video  of this process that was posted on Facebook.
During our pick-up times, our students perform beautifully by assisting customers in picking up their plants and delivering them to their cars.
Countless parents come to assist as cashiers, plant checkers, etc., as well. When we all work together, great things happen!
Over the years, more than $150,000 has been raised through this event. These funds have accomplished great things for our school.
On April 28, Trinity Lutheran received three new members to its church family.
Those received included: Tom Jackson, Matt Hussong and Amie Chantos (pictured at right).
A cake reception was held in the Fellowship Hall after the 8 a.m. worship service to recognize and welcome the new members.
You can learn more about the new members by clicking here.
As part of their World Changer project for the year, Trinity's fifth-grade classes teamed up with members of Trinity's Freezer Meal Ministry to prepare meals for those in need on April 28.
On April 29, the two groups served the meals at the Churches United/Salvation Army meal site.
Beginning this Sunday (May 12) at 9:30 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall, Pastor Golter will be leading a Bible study titled: Fellowship with God and Others.
What is life? What is communion with God and others?
This study into the Bible’s word for fellowship—koinonia — will deepen your understanding of the marvelous life given to the church. God surprises with real life, along with His expectations.
Pastor Vokt's Book of Revelation study - which meets in the school library - will conclude this week.
