We wanted to take a moment and recognize all those who have courageously defended our freedom to worship Jesus. Thank you for fighting for our country and our freedom.

Proud of our nation,

they answered her call -

Defending the freedom

and safety of all,

On land or on the sea,

or in jets high above,

They went out of duty

and honor and love,

But however they served, Lord,

wherever they went,

Please bless them and help them

to know what it meant!

And help us to thank them

on Veterans Day -

For we owe them far more

than we could ever say

Stewardship Update

Hello Trinity,

On behalf of the Stewardship Team, I want to give you heartfelt thanks for your generous outpouring of support for Trinity's community through your pledges and our efforts to be Enough despite all that divides us in today's world. Our budget goal is $775,000, which would allow us to pay 100% of our apportionments and maintain a balanced budget. We need $601,000 in pledges to make that happen. As of today, we have received $313,282 in pledges – or 52% of our goal.

For those who still need to make your pledge, there is still time! We'd greatly appreciate you doing so as soon as possible, so we can thoughtfully plan for the coming year. These pledges allow us to set priorities to effectively make disciples of Jesus Christ and offer healing, help, and hope in his name.

You're invited to an ICE CREAM SOCIAL on Sunday, November 13, at 2:00 p.m. in the Memorial Fellowship Hall hosted by our Missions Team! This event is in honor of Veterans Day! We want to honor all our veterans at Trinity and the community. Hope to see you there!

The annual Thanksgiving Dinner has been a long-standing community event. Our church family loves serving everyone who walks through our doors on Thanksgiving Day. The guests who spend time here become part of our family, too!

This year our dinner coordinator, Deb West, plans to lead our team of volunteers again to create a delicious traditional Thanksgiving Day feast.

If you would like to volunteer, please get in touch with the church office at 850-862-4169. We have the following volunteer opportunities:

BRING YOUR ORNAMENTS! This year we are trying something new and asking for your help us decorate our Christmas trees by bringing a super fun ornament that represents your family or one with a family photo to add to the community tree. Bring your ornament on Sunday, December 4, to either service. There will be an empty tree in need of decorating both in the Narthex and Memorial Fellowship Hall.

Pro Tip: Don't bring a family heirloom by any means but a fun ornament or one with a family picture!

Join our Books & Beyond group for their November book "The Last True Poets of the Sea" by Julie Drake. The August meeting is Tuesday, November 29, at 6:00 p.m. This book is an deep exploration of family, friendship, mental illness, and survival.

We will be getting the stage ready for Advent services as well as making the whole building ready for the Christmas season. We’ll meet at 10am in the Fellowship Hall, feed everyone lunch, and be done by 2pm.

Friendsgiving Worship Night - Nov. 27

Our November Worship Night is on November 27th! It’s been a tradition to have “Friendsgiving” every year right after Thanksgiving and this year will be no exception! We’ll meet from 6-7:30 for some dinner, a great lesson on abundance from Melissa Johnson, and a great time of building each other up! TSM is providing the main course but we’re asking everyone to bring a side or dessert to share. Don’t miss it!

"It's the most wonderful time of the year…." The Christmas season is a time filled with promise, but what is the promise of Christmas? If we're not clear about what Christmas really promises, we might miss out on what makes it the most wonderful time of the year. Join us from November 27 - January 1 as we journey through the book of Isaiah to learn about the promise of Christmas.

Christmas Eve Service (Dec. 24)

Celebrate the birth of Christ at one of our candlelight Christmas Eve services!

This simple, beautiful service focuses our attention on the real meaning of Christmas. We read from the scriptures, sing our favorite carols, and reflect on Jesus' entry into the world. At the end of the service, the entire room is filled with candlelight as we worship our savior.

Join us at our 5:00 p.m. traditional or 7:00 p.m. Contemporary services. Don't forget to invite your friends and family to join us for this wonderful evening!
