Student Vaccination Status
If you would like to share your student's Covid-19 vaccination status with us, you may do so here. Sharing this information is completely voluntary. In the event that we need to make decisions concerning quarantine due to exposure to Covid-19, we will use this self-reported information to help us make our determination.

Great Books Program
Students and faculty members have been working together on the Great Books Program. This completely voluntary program saw nearly 60 students read more than 90 books with 19 faculty members since the program's inception in the spring of 2020. See a full list of students and titles completed. We are so proud of the growth we have seen in our students through this ambitious unique high school program!

Opening Days of School
  • Monday, August 30: 9th graders only. All students report at 8:00 a.m. to their Mentor Groups. Upperclassmen will be present to assist. All students will receive a copy of their schedule in Mentor Group.
  • Tuesday, August 31: 10th - 12th graders only. All students report by 8:00 a.m. We will begin the day in Mentor Group, where students will receive a copy of their schedule.
  • Wednesday, September 1: All students report to their first period classes by 8:00 a.m. Students may wear their House t-shirts, or, if they participate in a fall sport, they may wear their team-designated shirt. We will end the day with our opening of school/fall sports pep rally.

Student-Parent Handbook
Please find the 2021-2022 Student-Parent Handbook here. You may access it throughout the year by clicking "Forms and Resources" at the bottom of the Trinity website. All students and parents should familiarize themselves with the rules and regulations of the school and then sign their agreement via this form, which should then be returned to the Main Office by Wednesday, September 8. The form will come home as a hard copy on the first day of school.

Requests to Change Classes
Any requests to change classes must be done in writing by a parent. The $100 course change fee is still in effect. The last day to drop or add any class is Thursday, September 16. When a request to change classes is made, the student is to continue to follow the schedule from the first day of school until given a new schedule with the change. Some changes may not be able to be honored due to class sizes.

Alvernia Dual-Credit Offerings
Once again Trinity has partnered with Alvernia University in Reading, Pennsylvania, to offer several upper level classes as dual-credit options. The following classes are designated as dual-credit classes for this year: Calculus (honors), Environmental Science, Anatomy and Physiology, Spanish 4 (honors), and Personal Finance.

Juniors and seniors in these classes will be given information in the first week of school about the registration process. This is a great way to earn college credits that are transferable to most major colleges and universities.

Picture Day
Friday, September 3, is Picture Day. All students will have their pictures taken for the yearbook and their school IDs. All students will be required to have their student ID every day as they enter the building and when they pay for lunch. Temporary IDs will be given to students on the first day of school. They will be used until the picture IDs arrive later in September.

Lanyards and Swipe Cards
It's time for the 10th-12th graders to find those House lanyards and swipe cards they were given last year. All students must have their lanyards and will need the swipe cards to enter the building. Students will be required to have their lanyards and school IDs visible throughout the day.

Join the Special Purpose Entity (SPE) Program to Benefit Trinity's Students!
An SPE is a pass-through partnership that exists solely for the purpose of earning Educational Improvement Tax Credits (EITC) or Opportunity Scholarship Tax Credits (OSTC). SPE donations benefit tuition assistance for needy students.

Who qualifies?
Any individual or any corporation who pays PA income taxes of $3,500 or more is eligible. There are also options available to individuals who work for non-profits and retirees.

How does it work?
Donors will complete a Joinder Agreement (simple one-page document) that acts as a reservation for your donation level. You will need to estimate your tax liability for your planned donation. The reservations are taken on a first-come, first-served basis. Donors receive a tax credit in exchange for their donations.

Applications Exemption Test
The test will be administered during three separate sessions. These sessions are to be held on September 1, 2, and 3, from 2:45 to 3:30 p.m. Students will be given 45 minutes to complete each section. The items covered are chosen to test for the bare minimum of competency with three Microsoft Office 2013® applications – Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. The first test will be in Excel, then Word, and finally PowerPoint. The scores for the sections are not cumulative. This means that a failure in one section constitutes a failure for the exemption exam and students will not continue. Students may sign up in their Applications Class. If a student does not currently have Applications, they may still sign up to take the Exemption Test by e-mail to Miss Kiker. Another Exemption Test will be scheduled and announced at the beginning of the second semester.

Congratulations to Bryce Sibio '24 (Seton House), who attended the National Youth Leadership Forum: Law and CSI in Washington, D.C. Sponsored by George Mason University, more than 350 high school students from across the country engaged in the week-long program. Over the course of the summer, 1000+ high school students participated. The program covered the entire judicial process in-depth; from the discovery of a crime, through collecting and analyzing all of the evidence, to preparing for the courtroom process, and to taking part in a criminal trial. Students were given an introduction to the law school trajectory from law school professionals and toured George Mason and Georgetown Universities. Students who participated earned one college credit.
Freshman theology teacher Mr. Michael Creavey's book Return of the Lord: Narrative Reflections on the Apostles' Final Moments is receiving great reviews on Amazon! Jesus' apostles were not particularly remarkable men at first glance: fishermen, carpenters, even tax collectors! And yet he said, “It was not you who chose me, but I who chose you and appointed you to go and bear fruit that will remain” (John 15:16). Little is known for certain about what happened to each of them following the Resurrection, yet ancient traditions abound. What were their final moments like in this life? How did each apostle summon such astounding courage to face trial, tribulation, and martyrdom? What might it have been like when the Lord returned for them as he had promised? Mr. Creavey reimagines these final moments in an intimately personal way, inviting the reader into an experience of the profound love that God plants in the hearts of his closest friends.
