Stewardship Education Campaign & ILSTO
Comittment (Pledge) Weekend: November 9 & 10
PLEDGE CARDS: Trinity Church members were recently mailed a stewardship letter with pledge card. Thank you to those who have already returned their pledge cards. If you haven’t returned yours yet, please do so this weekend when you come for worship. Extra cards are available on the ushers’ tables & in the church office. For those not attending this weekend, pledge cards may be placed in the offering plate at any upcoming worship service or returned to the church office by mail or in person. Members are not required to complete pledge cards, but they are helpful in budget planning. Pledge cards are only viewed by Business Office staff (Pat & Shannon).
SIMPLY GIVING: Some Trinity donors choose to automate their giving through the Simply Giving Program. Enrollment in this program is easy and ensures that contributions are regularly scheduled (per the giver's choice) and not overlooked with the distractions of life. For these reasons, the Simply Giving Program is also a significant aid in budget planning and convenient for participants.

Christ Lutheran High School
Workshop: Sunday, November 10 | 3:00-5:00 PM
The start-up of a Lutheran high school that will serve Benton, Iowa, Johnson, and Linn Counties and beyond is underway! A Board of Directors has been formed and a legal firm has been retained to assist us with Articles of Incorporation, bylaws, registering with the State of Iowa, and securing Tax Exempt Status (501c3).
We have begun working on vision, mission, and purpose statements as well as core values, and we want your input! Daniel Sanchez from the Iowa District East office will lead a workshop to help us collect your thoughts and ideas on what you envision a Lutheran high school should be about. The workshop will take place on Sunday, November 10 from 3:00-5:00 PM at St. Stephen’s Lutheran Church in Atkins. Snacks and refreshments will be served.
We hope you will join us! Questions? Contact Mark Mueller at themarkmueller56@gmail.com.

Help Us Thank our "Snow Removal Engineer"
Randy Oxley is retiring as Trinity's volunteer "Snow Removal Engineer" after many years of faithful service (since 2005!), frequently on dark and bitterly cold mornings. We want to thank Randy for ensuring that worship services and school activities continued during the winter months despite the weather. To do this, an assortment of thank you notes with envelopes are available at the display in the church fellowship hall downstairs. Everyone is encouraged to write a note of appreciation to Randy on one of the cards and place it in the completed cards basket. Cards will be gathered and presented to Randy at a future date. Thank you for your participation!
